how are mickey mouse blast events even relevant in hltv rankers? they should have 20% of the impact coming from big ESL events, and thats only if there are at least 2 non partnered teams in the event, otherwise only 10%

tbh hltv rankings for the past year and a half were awful, so irrelevant.

It's not abuse my guy: Blast, alone, distribute yearly prizes of around: 3.725.000,00$ (2023 with the major) If you think Blast event is ranking abuser think twice. This event raises a lot of money in CS scenario

90% of the prize money goes to a few selected elite orgs so who cares lmao, it doesnt improve the quality of teams

Not selected my guy. Teams can buy their way into being partnered team, like Heroic did with MIBR Slot. And World Final has nothing to do with partnered Teams, it has to do with various results throughout the year, check the slots for that event. Major same thing

Yeah players without an org who can buy a blast spot should just use all of their life savings to buy that spot xd, what a great idea. Its almost like blast is open circuit only to an elite set of teams And how does OG get invited to world finals when they have only played in 1 esl event whole year, finishing it 15-16th with absolute shitty various results throughout the year? I think, I am not sure, but I think it may have to do with them being a blast partners

Player without an org entering a t1 competition? what? You also had a major winning team performing horribly in BLAST World Finals. And OG do well in Blast

Last year a first place in Blast groups like this one was that is happening was worth 2400 points, while a 2nd place in a Major was worth 2000. So 3 teams in the stage will win more points than a higher classs team that was 2nd in Blast Paris Major, very balanced point system.

+1 closed circuits like BLAST should have a reduction in ranking impact but 20% is a bit over the top

Pretty much every1 who has some knowledge about CS know how HLTV ranking is broken and nobody cares. It was great years ago because there were no tournaments like BLAST (that i love) but right now it simply doesn't work. Outsiders were #1 and they're #5 right now and every1 knows that they're somewhere at top12-15. Stop thinking about ranking, just enjoy CS. Its almost impossible to fix that at this point

+1 Blast should be about 10%
