lmao u basically judge the capability of an igl by the rating. If you grow more brains and actually focus on the formation and tactics of faze and g2 you should learn that karrigan and hooxi are best igls we have rn even with so called gold nova rating.

That’s not aim rating, but overall performance and it’s the only thing u can judge a player by as a viewer. It’s 2023 already, but fools still pretend they know how good IGL calls while not being in a team.

You can look at things like how well they read stacks, how well they apply tempo, do they go aggro at a proper moment, when do they play slow. Where do they stack ct in 3v3 etc

You dont, ranking igls is dumb. The only way to tell is if a team switches IGLs and one does better than the next. But even then they might just have different styles and one works better than the other lol

Nah I think achievements is an awful way to rank igls personally give 2018/19 gla1ve the fnatic or nip roster and he is known as a failure. Give him astralis and hes known as the best IGL of all time. And im not trying to take anything away from him he invented so many strats that every team STILL uses today. But he wouldnt of won trophies with a worse team. The way I rate IGLs is based on how much impact they had to the game, happy, fallen, art, gla1ve, all changed the way the game was played. (ik art looks out of place but every team copies furias strats on new maps) overall I still think comparing IGLs is a dumb idea, and the issue with how I rate IGLs is it only works with like 5-10 and there have been so many greats that I left out such as zeus because he never changed the meta

very true, but i do think gla1ve still wouldve been great with his brand of cs in other rosters but not without dev1ce imo. Any other 3 and dev1ce and they still wouldve had an era. He basiclly made magisk's career but they wouldnt have been so dominant but still an era. But thats just my opinion and well see if he can do it with another competent roster this year, but comparing igls is dumb. Overall its how they look at the game, can the team be on the same page, micromanaging and how many other people contribute in the calling. Theres no way for us to know that and you cant make a stat on that.

It’s simple, usually you take a list of 5-10 players who are the in game leader for their team. Then you put them in order from best to worst.

meh even though their midrounds are insane id still say hooxi over cadian just because both nexa and aleksi couldnt make them contenders (maybe nexa is a strech bc of the rosters but yea) His work in cph flames also puts him over for me while cadian didnt really do the same and needed a great team so win trophies (imo most of heroic are star players in their respective roles) sjuush imo one of the best anchors, stavn one of the best hybrids and jabbi one of the better riflers but yet to really prove it.
