Maradona is considered top3-4 of the goats in football and his stats and trophies are nowhere near other 3 but the way he played the game was what makes him great. Federer is a phenomenon in the way he played tennis and on top of that he have almost the same amount of grand slams as others. You kids nowadays only open google and watch statistics without even watched a game ever

Federer played in the toughest time period and was the best of the big 3 in the 2000s and early 2010s.
Nadal is the indisputable GOAT of clay courts.
Djokovic has had plenty of black swans like lockdowns, Australia and the US open requiring vaccinations etc

Im 28 and I started to train tennis from 4yo until 19 so yeah I watched a lot of tennis and played a lot and I can tell you that Nadal and Djokovic style is the style that everyone played and will play. My coaches always said to me "Don't try to play like Federer if you want to win, because no one can play like him and win against people like Nadal,Djokovic,Murray and so on.There is no one other than Federer who was on top and played like he is on training.

nadal bought it back bit of luck in 5th set to make it into grand final against djoker, dimitrov was in form and had luck go against him in that 5th

this is completely right, any good tennis player that isnt braindead knows that
in tennis our coach even said : play djoko style, play agressive etc
and djoko style was regularity, always giving back ball very long on the court, and play long exchanges while waiting for the mistakes

i was fan because a had a boss at a previous workplace and we found common ground with tennis and he was serbian
we went very deep with tennis
i was always supporting djokovic with him
but he admitted even though they were gifted it was boring to watch, especially the other serbian milos raonic from canada
relied on his 230km serve to win the game, if they knew how to return his serve he was in trouble, if not, that was his freelo
at least djokovic had some depth
