A B05 right now isn't ideal for G2. their map pool gets a bit thin once you go that deep. They dont like playing Overpass or Vertigo. They are not good at ancient, and who knows what we can see from them with Anubis considering they have only 1 match played on it Inferno/Nuke/Mirage are their most solid maps but outside that it might be difficult.

Rain is back for Katowice and I with regular rosters I think faze and g2 are pretty much equal. If they don't get scammed and meet earlier it should be a great final.

Yes, but faze have not shown that top tier cs for a while, other than the 1 final they lost to heroic they did nothing the whole last season. They dropped of a lot (still a top 5 team, but not #1 like the spring season)

Judging from the blast final where they were as good as g2 and could've won and now dominating with a stand-in, I think they're back. Heroic now lost to vitality that is also looking really good, these should be the top 4 teams atm.

Faze have played in A tier event in a mid group and qualified , i can use that to say they are strong ,solid , good , flexible so and so .What do you have in your defense to say they are not solid ! Not as stable as g2 atm, but can be hard to tell after only 4 games. Right now Heroic can play their best and win katowice, but asl lose to EG and Sprout and end up last place

I think it is more towards playing with a sub last event and its the first event of the year. Prior to that and all the matches after the EG loss they looked pretty consistent. g2 destroying in groups and then losing to bad teams right after is nothing new too either.

It's in relation to groups, the format is you have main bracket and losers ones ofc, i assume you already know that, and theirs 2 groups. the 1st proceeds to semis of each group, those who do not lose a single match, and 2nd, the losers to 1st place in the bracket final, also proceed, to quarters, and they are deemed as 2nd. And then the final procedure method is winning the lower group, I don't understand, it's literally the group format, people are coming at me like it isn't. We're talking groups only and strictly

Well no, nobody would perceive that as the same thing, because winning the group literally means coming 1st. There's no world in which it can be interpreted as coming 3rd, or "winning the lower bracket," as that is a completely different thing.

I don't see how that is not the case when the event themselves reference it as the lower bracket and is a defined term, and you just have to put 2 and 2 together to understand that winning the lower bracket is not the same as winning the upper bracket and where everyone is placed. Your argument is only valid to someone with little understanding of how the system works and all the terms, lower bracket upper bracket and lack of understanding. But from someone who knows the system or atleast seems to, it should be fairly well taken in without second thought. This argument is pointless and just a matter of you wanting to reference to things perfectly, when at the end of the day it can be understood one way or another, just a waste of time to argue about how terms should be referenced to

Not really a waste, you're just wrong. Whether that is from an incomplete understanding of how English works given I assume it would be a 2nd language for you or something else, but nobody would see "win the group" and think of the lower bracket.

Given they are in the same half of the group, one will definitely be lower bracket by the end of the 2nd match. So they can but would have to be 2nd and 3rd from the group. That would place them on opposite halves of the playoff draw. 2nd in A would play 3rd from group B, and the winner plays the group B winner. While 3rd in A plays 2nd from group B, and the winner plays the group A winner. If one of them wins the group and the other wins the lower bracket, that puts them 1st and 3rd, so they meet in the semi finals instead (assuming the 3rd place wins the quarter final). EDIT: This is just a long way of saying you are right, and showing why it works that way.
