I think you misunderstood, what im saying is that their influence only extends to the point of a romanticized future in which they are the heroes that save the day. Canada's 25 year co2 emission reduction plan will decrease less co2 emission than China's increase in 1 year. Well lobster used to be considered a peasant food in the colonial era and now they are delicacy. The actual meat on a bug could taste good but there isn't much of it. The exoskeletons could supplement the lack of fiber in people's diets. I already make most of my own food so I can't see myself grinding bugs into my mince. I'm also fussy about cheap fillers in my food in general.

Here in the jungle, they eat that, they have some rather exotic foods, I never tried it, but I watch some videos of tourists trying this But in asian countries they also have something like this, in some videos they put scorpions, worms, insects and tourists try that
