2023-01-28 16:59

2023-01-28 17:01

2023-01-28 17:02

university graduates 6 months, others 12 months in turkiye
2023-01-28 17:04
Thank you for your service and good luck in the future
2023-01-28 17:05

2023-01-28 17:08
Hopefully I'll be in the US air force late this year or next year
2023-01-28 17:13
Ingeresting, and for example to stay there more than two years you gotta do some type of request? How does it work?
2023-01-28 17:16
congrats man
i finished my 2 years 8 months service as a combat soldier 2 months ago
the salary is nowhere near your salary, i wish the salary was higher but when you're in a mandatory service that's not gonna happen
2023-01-28 17:20
Good i guess do what do u want to do and become the best YOU....i rather be a translator(coz i am one).
2023-01-28 17:25
good thread, and good job
2023-01-28 17:25
Military is dumb in general, waste of precious time of your life
2023-01-28 17:34
Military is an easy and decent job indeed, basically no requirements such as diploma or good grades/exams, i would like to work there if it wasnt for putins regime. In a peaceful country its a good option.
Also, cant you just work in a military in your city? I understand countries with mandatory military, but if you going for contract cant you just choose what office you will be in?
2023-01-28 17:35
"Use equipment from 70 years ago" the Tiger tanks still work? ;)
What exactly did you do there?
Will you stay Reservist from now on?
2023-01-28 17:43
wtf it's been 2 years already?
2023-01-28 17:44
im probably gonna go to army academy to become an officer.
thoughts?
2023-01-28 17:51
I want to join my countries military but afaik I would not be able to stay vegan there which is kinda fucked. Hopefully it changes soon
2023-01-28 18:14
"Gf it's important" 💀 bro it's women
2023-01-28 18:19
Cool, I think it is great that someone is sharing their experience in the military, it is always fascinating to see what each country has to offer for their people who want to take a part in the military.
2023-01-28 18:24
Friends and family are very important indeed.
2023-01-28 18:45
Gj Anton please don't kill me in the war :(
2023-01-28 19:35
Do you wank each other off? Serious question
2023-01-28 20:39
i served for just under 10 years and i miss it. i miss the suck.
your list is pretty accurate. shitty leaders ruin just about everything, but the steady pay, brotherhood, and experience make it worth it imo. i got paid to use high explosives, jump from planes and helicopters, fire machine guns, throw grenades, etc.
nades would be OP if the CS devs made them more realistic haha
2023-01-28 20:42
i miss the time when i was in the military but well i found better in term of money
2023-02-03 16:42
You only get that payment as a Zeitsoldat, right? Normal soldier starts way lower.
2023-02-03 23:26
nice bro, i miss my time in the military and i guess u will feel the same in some time
2023-02-04 01:47
nice information
"Bad Equipment (so much is broken and outdated, we still use a lot of equipment from 70 years ago)"
now it will be easier for some country to attack
2023-02-04 01:59
what is the system to go to the military
i mean is it randomly u getting call to the military or u must go to the military after high school ?
2023-02-04 02:04
I served 1 year in Russian Navy
Don't fucking recommend. You go to the seas - you don't see girls for months
2023-02-04 15:47
ty for this thread one of the best I have read on HLTV so far cuz I wanted to join army myself really good one have a nice day
2023-02-04 15:52
Pros: If you're in a military. You'll get respected person in society
Cons: Somewhere after retirement, you'll regret about the decision you made to join the army
2023-02-04 16:12
far from home is a relative thing. for example if u live in moscow and serve in syberia/far east (or vice versa) it's actually far away from home. but when u serve in a different region of germany and can visit your family during weekends i think it's not that bad
2023-02-05 06:40
so how dumb the orders or hierarchy could be?
2023-02-05 07:16
Did you had to shoot anyone? Did you kill anyone?
2023-02-05 07:45
