Yeah well you say that and they still won blast lisbon and were on the brink of winning Cologne. S1mple himself just was never the same since cologne, not the entire team. It's about s1mple not the rest of the team. Even b1t dropped off hard since cologne

While I partly agree, winning BLAST and making the final in Cologne was just their honeymoon period in my opinion. electroNic playing as an IGL while simultaneously hurting his star rifler capabilities was never meant to be but yeah, it's just speculation.

Well that was realistically a means of impending doom eventually yes, but I think it's more of a navi downfall than a s1mple's downfall, persay he wouldn't be as effected imo, just what I think

I agree, NaVi is definitely falling off, even now. Then again, s1mple carried Edward and Zeus back in the day but he looks stressed, unhealthy and unhappy. He should honestly take a break

For sure, he never seems happy and the only emotions I see him express are anger really. Without a break to recover he'll just slowly see his legacy fall tbh, I don't see him magically recovering atm. NaVi is in such a bad position and frankly its sad to see because I enjoyed the navi faze rivalry so much in 2022

i think RIO was their breaking point , s1mple was still good in EPL playoffs and in RIO groups but after that furia game ......

Well I think Cologne lost them 90% of hope but after Rio the last 10% disintigrated hltv.org/stats/players/events/7998/s1mpl.. Just look at his events after cologne, all the stats are same throughout generally, before or after rio. Bar world finals

blast groups : he just played 2 maps so lets ignore that EPL : he was really bad in groups , recovered and had ~1.30 rating in both playoffs game RIO RMR : good event , beat eventual winner with good rating RIO : had ~1.30 rating as well in groups but then had one of his worst series against Furia .. that has to be the game , it was a free major for them faze were out in groups , C9 out in quarters they always own heroic and they bottled it

Well at the same time, s1mple has had immense inconsistancy aswell. You can hand pick alot of games where has was good xyz but then he'll also have another series of 0.9 rating, his lows are just so low in comparison, another thing is, after cologne I find it s1mple physically started to look worse aswell, just what I think tho

i mean EPL groups were just after player break and he didnt got any time to practice with his team so its kinda expected , playoffs decent , RMR decent , RIO groups decent and then Furia game

At the same time, for Rio groups, a brunt of his rating came from farming BNE aswell without a doubt, other than that he had 2 pretty good 1.3-1.5 rated games but the rest are very poor for s1mple

i mean yeah he farmed BNE same team that eliminated faze , but my main point is he was not missing easy shots like he is missing today just eye test wise he was still much better than his post Rio form

Well faze were definantly down in the dumps back then and navi were much stronger, but still I do agree he didnt miss as many shots today, but I think he was at 95% at cologne or thereabouts of his potential at the time, and then after he dropped down to 70%, and then after Rio maybe 60-65%. My point is Cologne was the thing that set s1mple on a big downward spiral, and again, there could be a big chance navi win rio had they not lost cologne, what do you think? I think so tbh.
