Stew was the one who openly criticized him yes, but that doesn’t mean he was the only one critical of him. ELIGE approved the changes, which means HE got Grim dropped, not Stew.

How so? Liquid literally dropped everyone but ELIGE, then let him and Daps build the team. And he managed to convince NAF to come back, AND brought his best friend Nitr0 out of retirement. I think it’s pretty obvious ELIGE had a huge part in making decisions.

Grim is one of the better riflers in the world today. Probably a top 20 player at this very moment. Imagine what he'd have done a year ago if they weren't losing every game 16-4. This guy is a monster he really is. Great mechanics and I love his attitude. I love Elige and I'm really heistent to criticize a player for his facial expression (because this is obviously a super suspect way to evaluate a person) BUT I love the way you can tell how bad he wants it.

The problem with grim is he's inconsistant like no one else is, for like 3 events straight he's a beast, for 3 he's having a very rough time of things. When he's activated he's a beast, a top tier fragger, but assuming he's the main aggressor of his team, it would make his team rely on him heavily for how the round is portrayed. Definantly deserves a spot on an EU team but I feel like he's nationalistic in the same way tabsen is and wants to win with his team

I would agree with you pretty much totally. The only defense I'll give for his relative inconsistency is that he plays on a team that regularly loses games 16-7. I'll put it this way Grim passes my eye test. Quite highly even.

Well I can't perhaps speak too much not having seen much of Col only this event and EPL and perhaps Rio but as I said I see it that his teams result relies on his form or alteast from what I've seen, I could be wrong but yeh, and from what I've seen eyetest wise he's decent at his lows and not as bad as stats might make you think.

What I'm really getting at is you put him on a better team and set him loose I think he'd be a really good/more consistent player. Hell if you cut Hext and put him on EG I think that's probably a better supporting cast and he could elevate them.

I don't see why not. He's spent a good part of the last two years in Europe anyway. I would imagine he's fairly accustomed to the cultural differences at this point.

Why would Stew be malding? He criticized Grim, and Grim completely changed his attitude and is doing way better. If anything Stew gets to say “I told you so” lol

I think CoL is the right place for him, they just need to replace JT and Hallzerk. FaNg is good enough to be a 2nd/3rd rifle. Idk about Floppy tho. Maybe - floppy + Autimatic - JT + Stan - Hallzerk + … oSee? Idk.

Hmmm… so either buy oSee cheap and pray a change of scenery improves him, which is CoL’s MO so far, and it worked brilliantly with Grim. OR CoL swing big and snag a Regali, Mhl, etc.

if JT got sacked it would mean the Coach would leave too, and they are both on great terms with the owner, not happening. JT is an IGL. -Hallzerk +oSee? Lol? no but really there is no NA awper or even EU awper to replace him

What's crazy is that Hallzerk was on lists of EU AWPers to sign a year ago. AWP upgrades aren't really upgrades (Hades vs. SunPayus, Mantuu vs. Degster, Acor/Torzsi)

OSee could potentially improve with a change of scenery. Liquid since S1mple is pretty notorious for underperforming Awpers, perhaps it’s their system/the difficulty of playing with fraggers like ELIGE and NAF.
