Maybe. I would give them time since new roles and a new player but i think they might be just a top 3 in the world overall this year.. Cuz they lost a top10 player (elec) npl with time maybe he become a good player but not a top10 like elec that's for sure.... So yeah i think they will be a top3 team at best.

The decline started at the start of the war. And the kick did impact the team as with any kick that afterwards requires big changes in the team, but they finished as 2nd best team of 2022. Taking into account the war, the results for that year were not that bad. So yeah, I still think boomich was a trash leader and got carried hard, and I did say this opinion even before the war happened.

Think teams also just needed time to figure out roles & where electronic would be playing since he's IGLing. Once they adapted the decline was only that much more evident after just 2 events. Taking an elite rifler away from his best spots & making him call is just, depressing. Can't blame only the war man.

You do have a point, that electronic doesn't seem to fit the IGL role as there is no rifler in the market that can output the numbers that electronic was outputting before. Still, I do not think that boomich had anything to do with the success that they had. Of course, he was a teammate and CS:GO is a team's game, but what I'm trying to say is that put any other IGL in that role, let electronic get back to his role, and together with Blade we would see the same results, or even better.
