I went from 2.5k elo to lvl8 soloq mostly because of tilt and also because I was playing for fun/highlights, now I started trying again and I legit can't get out. I want to scream.
Every game and I mean every fucking game is retake simulator. My rotations have to be perfect. T side is also impossible because they don't know how to take mid and they usually just wonder around the map giving free entries.
Am I supposed to full bait? Igl and micromanage every player?

No, CS is a team game, it is about teammates
Unless you are an insane player that can solo carry with dubble entries, 1.2-1.3 kpr every game , all clutches etc. Then yes you can solo high elo
Otherwise it is luck , or playing with good friends

Losing interest in the game overtime? Its not rocket science. When I had 70 hours past 2 weeks regularly and was tryharding I went easy lvl 10 (2050 elo,21 avg) soloq. I reached my goal,did not care about elo anymore and started to play chill ,much less hours in CS and now I'm stuck at lvl 7-8. I don't care at all about the game ,I just mute people after first bad word,sometimes if I feel it I mute all from the start etc. There are so many factors. People don't understand how somebody can be lvl 4 after 10k games for example and their brain can't process that probably that person is burned out in CS and play just for fun. Everybody assume that other people are all tryharding like their life depend on it. But that guys who destroyed you know how to play CS and if he have a day where he care he can destroy lower levels,it's just not consistent as he don't care

+1 reached lvl9 with 40-50 fps laptop tryharding when i was 16 or close to that now im almost 24 and playing maybe 3-4 matchmaking games per month if i feel like it

Haha you have some good shit ask your dealer for more and use some different website as this one show bs stats ,it shows only last 100 games but your little brain can't even understand it from the obvious stat that it shows lowest elo 1500 when everybody start with 1000

+2, I was 2.1k elo and dropped to 1.7k, fully tilting and blaming mates etc. My averages went downhill, I often had games with 10, max 15 kills. After losing so much I took a small break, I decided to only focus on myself. Win/lose doesn't matter, as long as I'm satisfied with my personal performance in the game. Toxic teammates I just told them I'm muting them and muted them. I went back to 1.9k elo in 1 week, averaging 24 avg kills, 1.31 K/D and 60% HS in the last 20 games: faceit-stats.me/?user=navm_

Tried this too(wanted to try if its more playable and eu que was dead at that time), my ping was 120 and i could still somehow play but according to the enemies they were not able to hit me so it was fucking easy.

If you are truly better than your elo you will be able to win games and get higher elo, it's as simply as that. Especially on T sides if you are clearly better you should be able to get good impact and win rounds

It doesn't work like that on soloq. Day0s had 16 losses in a row and in 80% of his games he had almost 30 frags. If you average so high it obviously shows you are better than the level where you play at. In soloq you are only 20% so even if you do impact kills like open every round for 5v4 it can be useless as your random Mates can fck it up with stupid plays. If you play in stack and you get into 5v4 you can communicate to group up and hit site but it doesn't work in soloq, nobody cares what you are saying. If anybody say something else it's bs. You can't play soloq for rank,you have to play it for individual performance only. So if you played a good game then it's a win for you and that's it,forget about the match result

Idk if you misunderstood but I meant in the long run if you are truly better you will win more than lose and gain elo. Sure you might have periods where you play really well but lose games but you can also have periods where you play bad but still win but in the end it evens out and playing consistently better than your elo will gain you elo. I have played my whole life only soloq and got to 3k elo about 1,5 years ago and have been between 2,7-3,4k elo ever since and I don't play for individual score at all, I'm usually around 20avg, 1,18kd and 0,7-0,8kr guy but I just do my job and try to win and it got me where I'm at. I don't play much (usually around 25-30h/2 weeks) so I don't think I deserve or got the skills for even much higher than my current 3,2k elo if I don't actually start fully focusing on getting better (learn more utility and get better movement and aim).

Fluctuating in soloq is normal. You can EASILY have 5 games in a row where somebody leave,afk,troll etc. Then you need to have 5 games where you get normal people just to even it out,not even progress,how big a chance is that you will get it? Very low. Maybe you get 1-2 good games again and then few bad. It's a team game,you can be simple but if your team suck nothing you can do. If your mates keep losing site with no kills you will never retake it. The average level in CS is very high,even lvl 4-5 players have pretty good aim,just small details makes a difference between lvl 5 and 10. Utility usage,reading the game,rotations,timing etc. But aimwise there is not such a big difference. Few days ago I watched Docc stream and he played with friends against 5 stack of pros (Valde,snappi,bubzkij,buff and somebody I don't remember) and they did beat them like 16 11. You would expect that 5stack pro must destroy all non-pro stacks but obviously it's not the case as aimwise 4k+ elo players are on similar level

Fun story : i have my friend who is global/level 9-10(plays in lobby with other chad players). But, i out aim him in 1v1 sometimes, and i am mg/lvl1 in faceit(soloq). So, i think similar case with you, maybe need to improve on soloq aspect a bit and not tilt.
2. I once got into lobbies where most players were level4-6, but somehow i was top fragging on mirage. They often told me how to play where to hide and all that and i somehow fragged mostly when enemies were not looking or flashed. Probably it could be a good position thing, maybe check whats that rope for you in your soloq lobbies.

the problem imo is that soloQ system tries to force you to have 50% winrate. if you win like 5 games in a row, the next 5 matches youll get these toxic griefers so its its prettty much +-0 unless you manage to win with these toxic players or your just godlike player and can win games "alone".

level 8 is full of scrubs. Just turn your brain off and push until you get back to lvl 10.
this is because you were elo inflated most likely mens, lvl 8 can have rly good player but a lot of lvl 10 in 2000-2500 elo range just get lucky/boosted/play too much cs and they get elo when they are not that good skill wise
this is why faceit needs elo reset and new system that is not dogshit
