Well, they're on the same level as you are so that means they are good enough to compensate their lack of utility with individual skills to reach that level. Unless of course they've gotten boosted

The best ones are the monkeys dry peeking awpers from long range. I had 1 dude in overpass, dry peeking the awper in long every round. He was getting progressively mad as the awper was easily picking him. Like this dude took it personally and instead of flashing just wanted to prove to himself he could do it. It was in faceit lvl 9 so not (supoosedly) bad ranks.

There are ways to just kill if that's what you want, in the competitive I hope my team knows how to do the basics and has a notion of how to work as a team. It's hard to get into a match where you have no tactical notion, know no pixel of utilitarians or pass calls.

you don't need them, but they can help a lot to take map control learn insta window smokes on mirage and you have free mid 90% of the pugs

Every single pro knows at least 3 smokes for every bomb site on every map. New nades maybe someone else finds for them, but they do know smokes 100%

It gets a bit better once you get in higher elo. I'm 2.3k elo now and some people actually know util even on maps like overpass or nuke (if you play faceit free it's still kinda sucks but that's life). I'd say the bigger problem than people being lazy to learn lineups is the actual knowledge of what to do on the map, taking map control etc. I have a huge problem with people just calling stupid stuff like: "gO A gUyS" or "gO B guyS" or them dying in first 20 seconds of the round, shit's really annoying...

Bruh, I'm 2.8k and I know only 3 smokes across all the maps (all on mirage). I'm playing for fun and basing my gameplay around calculated tactics does not count as fun in my book.

Overpass smokes are hard to remember, IDK i keep looking at the concrete smudges and forget where to aim. Aim either at trees or fence or concrete, looks too much the same. I know a few but in hectic game impossible to concentrate on it running heaven smoke easy to missthrow aswell

I play overpass so rarely that i cant remember more than the heaven smoke from short and the bank smoke from long. Im fine on all maps except nuke and overpass, its hard to remember when u play them once every 2 weeks

Look another thread crying about teammates on faceit a Pick up group system PUG. The fix is easy, join a team and practice with them, you'll be surrounded by people who want to get better learn smokes and meta and you'll become better from it.
