it's a tough question, because there was some incredible women chess players, but they all had situation where they had to stop, most likely due to peers pressure and social integration. It's not a question of "less brain" or whatever, it's just that we don't give them as much chances as we do for men. I'm not into feminism or whatever, I'm just for equality and equity, but girls are often put in a place where they have to choose between being a good mom and have a family/career or they can go full autistic in their lobby like we do,(spoiler, its very uncommon they dare going full autistic into something) but then we despise them 'cause they don't have the requirement to be a "good women" in society (no kids, no real jobs or studies, etc). Education is the key but people think it's twitter...
Nonetheless, I also think that women nowadays kinda don't want to have anything to do with stuff like gaming or competition because it's kinda nerdy, and even tho its sorta trendy now to be nerdy, girls are either falling in traditionalism or far-left extremism. Thus, in pro-scene you only have gold diggers like pro-players' wife (sad nexa, sad kennys, sad niko, sad device, sad Boombl4, etc etc) who don't care about being with an ugly ahh dude because they got their money and they get fuarked by some randoms gymrat (me ? aiming someone famous ? I never would.) or you have kind girls who don't dare putting their balls on the table 'cause they dont grow like us and people around them belittle her cuz she's a girl.
