It’s good response with a different opinion.
But don’t you think at the end of the day that it’s sad given the potential of developing homegrown talent to context? The bpl is one of the richest if not the richest league in Europe and would have a ton of potential to develop consistent World Cup winner squads for example for England. Instead, what you see is bizarre fees and sums for mediocre players, inflating the whole industry, throwing money out the window for some foreign „wonderkids“ (also a lot of Bundesliga imports btw) (where a lot of clubs give shitty flops insane contracts fucking up their whole finances bc other players want to receive the same salary etc). You don’t see long developments, clubs trying to take their time to build a squad over time, you see instant transfers, sackings of coaches every week etc… you see wannabe faze/g2 SUPERTEAMs who still won’t manage to win any cl, you see the top 5 (the richest clubs of the league) buying every talent from the lower rated clubs in the league (talking about farmers league), clubs lack identity because their whole squad might change or be swapped completely within a season. You have too many cups and games, need double the amount of players per club compared to other leagues . The top 5 is 80% the same 5 clubs in different order with 90% 1-2 teams battling it out. The bpl is like 2 leagues in one- the top 5 against some mediocres. The Bundesliga might have Bayern as a champion every year currently but that can change any time and you should also see the difference in points to the 2nd place. What you should also check out is the other parts of the leagues. In Bundesliga the 15th has like max. 10 points less than the 2nd/3rd most of the time. It’s always a tight battle in between the whole league and the whole league is getting consistently better because the level of the teams do not differ that much. You see union berlin being 2nd right now. Who is that? A club that just came up to the 1st division not too long ago.
Btw check out the bpl winners in relation to money spent the season before xD it’s always the club who spent the most and it’s just… there’s no healthy cycle in that.
