Might be bias but with FaZe, their peak is when everyone is hitting their shots, and when they hit their shots, karrigans calls work phenominally, and when they're hitting their shots the space creation from karrigan and rain is incredible, they feel unbeatable in their peaks in my opinion, but navi in their prime also felt incredibly strong, insane individuals and great tactics.

All 4 of these teams had dominant event wins with stomping everyone When faze win events this year they depend on one lucky timing like elec not hearing twistzz lol or they could literally be grouped like in epl15 lol Meanwhile Astralis comeout stomped everyone in Marseille 2018 and Faceit London Major Liquid Grandslam Navi 2021 LANs There was never doubt they will struggle at their peak

And you still ignore that I say they show up when they HAVE to, and you can make excuses about timing and all but a game is more than 1 round lmao. Even if electronic hears him there's no reassurance he wins the round, they were on a less than optimal buy, faze couldve easily still won that knowing their conversion rates in 4v5s or worse

I think NaVi over FaZe personally, FaZe’s run is arguably more impressive but it included a lot more close series, whereas NaVi pretty much obliterated anyone in their path

NaVi 'era' had smaller tournaments like Blast and a RMR FaZe is the only team ever to win Cologne, Katowice and a Major in the same year. And NaVi had a lot of problems against Gambit, and a massive loss to Akuma. And EPL 13 when Heroic won, NaVi was kinda shaky in the first half of 2021. But for sure that's debatable, my flair checks out

Imo neither FaZe nor NaVi had a real era. FaZe came closer, but with less dominant games. NaVi’s major was by far more dominant than any tournament FaZe won, and while NaVi could be considered shaky in part of 2021, FaZe also bombed out 0-3 in the group stage of a major they were favorites to win. Would maintain what I said before, FaZe’s set of tournaments is more impressive but less dominant especially in terms of individual skill compared to NaVi’s

I agree, neither had a era. NaVi was more dominant, but FaZe run was greater, in terms of what they won. Both were shaky, especially FaZe in 2022/2. But it depends on how you measure their awards, i would say that what FaZe done is more incredible due to the Cologne, Kato and Major runs. What NaVi did was done before by many teams, in terms of dominating the year and winning a major / grand slam.

I don't understand. S1mple and electronic did what many other teams did in the past when those had a 'era'. Like fallen and cold, winning everything. But SK won 2 majors... that's why they are higher in my rankings. Or just like liquid, won many titles and grand slam. NaVi is higher in my list because they won the major. Can compare with fnatic 2015 as well, won many titles and a major. But fnatic was more dominant i would say. Or maybe with NiP, won everything and a major... VP the same. So what NaVi did was already done. FaZe won Kato, Cologne and a Major. Never done before.

If you speak about raw peak then stockholm NaVi is probably the highest peak ever. Most anticipated major ever and the most dominant major win ever from any team in history in a scene that is at a much higher level than at the Astralis/nip/luminosity/SK eras. If you take longer periods, Astralis 2018 will probably be first. The longer the period the more it favours Astralis. The more you reduce it the more it favours 2021 NAVI in my opinion. 2022 Faze would not be far behind also, as well as 2019 Liquid.

Reducing a time span of a peak would favor Liquid's peak more. If we consider as peak a time that lasts 3 month or more, than Liquids one is the most impressive since they won IGS in like 2 month or so (without major won tho) . If we shrink the peak to just 1 event, than yeah, Navi's PGL Stockholm was by far the most convincing performance ever.

several times? Out of the 4 events they won to take the grand slam, Astralis didn't participate in 2 (IEM Sydney and Dallas) and in Cologne Astralis lost to Vitality. Liquid only beat them in Pro League 9 2-1. And I am ignoring the fact that you are comparing 2019 liquid with 2019 astralis instead of 2018 astralis.
