It's not as obvious as you may think. Valorant, due to it's magical abilities etc, is pretty much a completely different game in terms of dynamics, strats, teamplay etc... the only thing it has in common with CSGO is the shooting as both games are FPS games. S1mple may have a great aim in csgo, sure, but in Valulrante he may fall short with his great aim to someone that, for example, understands all the magic special abilities to the core. Now I don't know how good Tenz is in valorant, because I don't follow it at all, but I guess he is kind of good as he was getting a lot of attention from valulrant fans. So MAYBE s1mple would be better than him... or maybe he wouldn't be. We will never know, I guess.

It is reasonable to assume that he would be able to adapt and excel in Valorant, a game that also requires similar skills but with the added aspect of abilities. Many professional players from other FPS games have successfully transitioned to Valorant and shown mastery in the game's mechanics and strategies. So, it is not far-fetched to think that a player like s1mple, who is known for his quick learning and adaptability, would be able to do the same, especially when players like Tenz, who are not as smart and talented as s1mple, were able to do it. While my statement may be based on assumptions, it is based on valid and supported reasoning, and cannot be dismissed as pure speculation.

Look at the CS players who transitioned to valorant. Those who didn't achieve anything in CS are thriving in Valulrant, which indicates that valulrant requires a different set of skills entirely. Sure, there are some similarities, and I'm sure s1mple would be GOOD - but would he really be better? Nobody knows, and it is pure speculation to think so. It's kinda like comparing basketball and handball, both require similar set of skills but they're different games in the end and when one MIGHT have an advantage coming from one sport to the other, it doesn't neccesairly mean they would be really good at it.

The only thing this indicates is that Valorant is filled with tier 5 bots and that winning against such opponents is not a noteworthy achievement and shouldn't be taken as an indicator of true skill... it's not surprising that some players are thriving in the game, given the lower caliber of competition they are facing. These players have yet to face opponents like s1mple or other top tier CS players, who possess a much higher level of intelligence and skill in playing FPS games. It may be easy for some to win against the less skilled and experienced opponents in valorant but the real test of skill will come when these players face those who are highly regarded in the FPS community, like s1mple, zywoo, niko, twistzz, monesy, broky, shiro, device, ropz, jks, b1t etc.
