Sure it could work but part of what makes for example Faze good is their ability to "break out" of the system and let the players do some individual play that might not make "perfect sense" (structure is usually based on percentage plays and having every move your players do make sense) which is hard to prep against and also can win you rounds that being inside the structure might not. Less structure gives more space for players like NiKo do intuitive plays and shine while a lot of structure makes it that it doesn't matter what players you have since they will just do what's needed from them and nothing more.
Kinda hard to explain but you obviously want both, enough structure that your floor is high and you can win even if the stars in the team are having a bad game but enough freedom that if the gameplan isn't working the stars can go out of the structure and win you rounds & games.
