i never said it's easy
but if your entire team is struggling, you as the awper will have the most chance to actually find kills regardless of the skill level
if we're talking about high impact awping in teams with actual aspirations to win, it's obviously hard, but still easier than the roles of at least 2 riflers in the team

Thats where I disagree, I think its easier to find impact as a rifler than as a main awp in t1/t2. Not talking about awping on faceit or low level teams, also secondary awping dpesnt count. Its incredibly hard to step up to the task as a main awp at the highest level
it isnt easy, but you can give the awp to most pro players and they will be able to atleast have around 1.0 rating, especially considering you will probably save alot, so less deaths for you. even karrigan will probably have a rating higher than 1.0 if you give him the awp

awpers usually do have better ratings yes but wiz doesnt actually have a high rating xd
wiz was already being mentioned for months when playing with the other EG formation. he was consistently performing well, and deserved this spot much, much more than Cerq.
idk why you have to be such an incredible DICK about him here and now, but imo just give him the chance and some time.

they can hire so many prospects and they resort to their B team which has, despite the fact i really like those guys, shown nothing that should make the management believe that they can compete in tier 1 consistently
the way they should incooperate these rookies is with 4 solid players, not build the foundation of the team with rookies because it's bound to fail

ngl you kinda sound like kassad to me.
wiz developed pretty rapidly in a practically DEAD scene. What happens at EG is actually a good way of showing that you can still become pro in NA imo.
We all know what happened to the old EG lineup. i'd rather see them invest in NA potentials like wiz than just buying more EU kids. its just better in the long run, especially if you care about the local NA scene.

the problem is that there is a clear disconnect in level between their main team and their other two teams, EG Black and EG White, which exist to develop talent and compete at a lower level
the reason being is that those teams are not one tier below what the main team should be, but like 3 tiers below, and i can't see how throwing players from there into a team that's supposed to be tier 1 is a good idea and how it's ever gonna work out
if they want this project to actually yield something, they gotta work on all 3 teams at o once
there rookies won't miraculously reach a high level, even 100x better players than them like torzsi are showing clear problems competing at a tier 1.5 level on a consistent basis after having shown promise

Eg hates is getting ridiculous. They don't win but they are not that horrible. They lost mostly because of nerves and because they have hext in their team. You should stop repeat Kassad's speak and thing by yourself.

5-10K is not massive in here, man. I hate the old EG with stan or with Stewie. They were not even trying. This lineup try and play decent round cs. They make Sprout look like a bad team. They choke, they do stupid mistakes, but it is still fun to watch. You transfert your hate toward Hext into a player who play t1 cs for 1 month. Hext's banter is stupid and he doesn't cheer when his team need the most.
Kick Xellow then too. He is steaing paycheck since he has to be like zywoo.

They travel a lot. You should leave this thread for any t2 EU teams who play online events at home.
Many sports and esports have huge salaries. They are not getting degrees while playing video games. It is a good income, that's sure, but I don't know what do you expect. Don't give them salary for playing a videogame outside of their home. Or they should apologize to eliiiii_ for not playing good for his standard.

i'm the viewer that makes them their bag in a sense and i don't want to have to watch them be the punching bag every partnered event, formulate the same plastic interviews, tweets etc. before and after games and don't deliver on having a massive headstart which are the partner slots
the fact i'm talking about this alone doesn't mean that i'm parasocially thinking i'm relevant in their life, but there are a million people thinking like i am and you're only defending them because they represent your region

You sound them like they stole something. So, its' even.
I don't like the EG management, but the players come to play and try. They train, they try to upset teams. So, I don't see why you should blame players, specially wiz for that.
No, i'm not defending because it is my region, I'm defending the hate toward the players of my region, nuance there.
Hext is dogshit, Fang has sharp aim but a bad gamesense. Elige should be technically way better. Osee is not delivering and should be kick if it is continue. Nitro is decent, but I won't be mad if they change him. I don't like Twistz (personality-wise), but he is a sharp player.

I feel he is near of the level of EG . EG can solidify as a t2 team. I don't think wiz give a horrible impression. He was average, better than cerQ (which is not really hard). It is a good step in the good direction. They can replace hext with a Eu player and they are more promising IMO. Or breeze with an EU player and Hext with a NA "talent" since he is playing support roles.
People expecting a new awper to be literally Dev1ce
tbh I think with a few months of work, he's already better than OSee
