Give him a team like Karrigan's and he'd achieve same heights. He took bunch of t2 players (spinx, dycha, hades, maden) to top 2 HLTV and made multiple deep runs with them consistently. Underrated IGL imo.

He doesn’t deserve better players if he can’t win anything. He can’t hang with the best.

But it doesn't mean that they weren't t1 level material. Spinx was a newcomer, known for his great talent. Dycha, on the other hand, started very late since for years he was falsely accused of cheating (case similar to ropz, but ropz got help much sooner). Based on their skill and performance they both were easily t1 material. But still I believe that Snappi is a great leader. If they got someone better than valde, they would still play for top spots.

He's definitely a competent igl but I don't think he's a Karrigan. Good at scouting talent though

Yes and no, if an igl is truly great, then he'll get these kind of chances across his career. Karrigan didn't just randomly get these chances, he worked himself up and proved himself over and over again. Snappi never managed to grind himself up the ranks the same way, and now he's 32 so very unlikely that he will get a top team anymore

He did prove his worth last year, the problem is no major t1 teams are in need of an IGL right now. But yeah across his whole career Karrigan clearly was and is better. I'm not saying he's better than Karrigan, just saying he's underrated.

He proved that he's a good igl, but he didn't prove that he's capable of the same heights as Karrigan which I don't think he is

we can agree to disagree there i don't mind the fact remains we won't know the answer unless get gets signed by someone like faze, which is unlikely

You think he had no influence on the decision making of acquiring these players?
2023-02-03 12:22
Actually it's Snappi together with Saw (the coach) who scout the players. From my understanding Ence has given basically full power to Snappi & Saw to find players they want and then Ence will try get them if they can.

Saw really plays an underrated role in Ence, imo he was one of the biggest influences to make ence so good during the start of last year.
2023-02-03 13:54
Yeah I agree snappi is super under-rated as IGL but not sure of same heights though.

2023-02-03 12:21
sAw seems like a great coach and players also really seem to enjoy working with him but hard to know exactly how good he is when all the real success he's had is with Snappi.
2023-02-03 12:47
very underrated. But he also makes a lot of dumb calls, and repeats them throughout matches which causes them to lose a lot of rounds
2023-02-03 12:18
no chance whatsoever the sole reason is dycha this guy is solo q most of the time and rank 2nd on faceit eu you could give him any 4 players and no igl and he will make them top 10, if theyre semi decent - top5 if you dont know the story of dycha, he had a manual ban on faceit for 2 years, so he had to grind esea to rank s, lots of pros were still accusing him of cheating twitter.com/storencsgo/status/9334730649.. this guy then docc also replied im 100% sure hes cheating too twitter.com/D0cC_csgo/status/93618601522.. then izakooo made a polish hub to find new talents, dycha had 70% win rate and 1.7kd imgur.com/a/944N6aa so finally there was a polish league where he could prove himself at lan, he rekt both top polish teams twitter.com/Dychacs/status/1069670656516.. he couldnt even play in fpl because of the rule against previous bans so he had to play this polish league and was just still just farming everything, faceit.com/en/hub/f8e3c297-c311-4a5d-8b0.. imgur.com/a/a4d7y1b i dont think you understand the adversities he had to go through, now that hes unbanned from faceit, hes got over 6000 elo ranked 2nd in europe just solo queue most of the time you think snappi can do ANYTHING on ANY other team, without dycha???? hahahaha if dycha ever signed to another team, ence would instantly be outside the top50, even with the great IGL Snappi, i bet my 2 holiday houses on it

Bruh i respect the hustle & all he's done to achieve where he is now but you're speaking of dycha as if he's a top 5 rifler. Mans wasn't even top 25 player 2022. Yet you speak of him as if he's been carrying Ence with 1.3+ rating every game lol.

because you dont understand cs its not about top fragging even though in his last match, it felt like another solo q faceit game narrowly lost to cloud9 on the 3rd map, he wish he had 4 team mates but it is what it is

nice argument "you don't understand cs" Teach me then. Give me every detail how Dycha has been carrying Ence for the better part of 2022. What makes him so important within the team? How he's carrying them?

so you want to go deep for example the map they won against cloud9. dycha didnt take credit im sure he couldve ran around and farmed if wanted to, but he plays proper cs, he doesnt give up numbers advantage so he lets his team mates take the spot light if theyre feeling it hltv.org/stats/matches/mapstatsid/150380.. VERY GOOD game from Snappi now when youre on the losing team, the errors are due to first contacts failing most of the time, its called giving up numbers advantage, normally you let your best fragger or "hero ak, hero rifle" whatever they call it now take first contact because guess what, it wins you the numbers advantage, then on this checkers board aka cs go you play around those numbers adv, but when your weaker players are trying to go first and keep giving that up, its kind of hard even on ct, you will notice who are the players who cant hold their own the most, in anything competitive in life, you are only as good as your WEAKEST link so you take the 2 maps that ence actually lost and you see the full story hltv.org/stats/matches/mapstatsid/150372.. hltv.org/stats/matches/mapstatsid/150387.. this is just one example of ence losses, you could go through all of them and at least 80% will look the same

ok you proved your point Dycha is a great player. But these hypothetical scenarios are bs in terms of disputing my point. You think someone like twistzz or rain is worse at doing the job Dycha does? My point stands even if you want to keep dycha. Just look at the lineup ence had when they were consistently putting up numbers against t1 teams in first half of 2022. Replace maden, hades and spinx with twistzz, ropz & broky and you get a solid top 1 team in 2022. Saying Dycha is insanely good doesn't change my point.

He is playmaker (doing risky plays, making space). Without him Spinx wouldn't be successful during 1st half of 2022

Yeah dycha is great but he is no superstar. He is amazing mechanically and his teammates have said in for example the Behind the Scenes -vlogs that he is like a robot but he isn't the type of player to constantly take over games like Spinx did on Ence or players like NiKo can do. As a Ence fan I'm afraid he will get picked by some tier1 team since he is really good and losing him would make Ence a lot worse and would probably drop them to top20-30 (not outside of top50, that's just delusional). Still there are plenty of better riflers in tier1 and getting really high elo on Faceit doesn't mean you are one of the best players in the world in pro CS. It's completely different to play pugs in Faceit and play tier1 matches, out of the top10 highest elo players in Faceit 7 are not even tier1 pros or pros in general.

2023-02-03 12:32
What comes to Snappi as igl, yes he is very good igl, but impossible to see how good he truly unless he gets a chance to play in FaZe, G2 etc. What comes to scouting Snappi AND sAw makes mostly the scouting and other team mates give their opinion what kind of a player they would like to play with. Snappi and sAw give shortlist to the management and org tries to make it happen. /closed.

2023-02-03 12:53
snappi's done wonders for Ence. But also the other way around. What snappi really needed was a stable "home" in an org that believed in him, and it has payed off. Next step for snappi is a bigger budget. He stated on a Danish podcast ("ACE") how frustrated he is to always have his best players picked off by larger teams, and having to re-invent. I think that he himself believes that he could win the biggest trophies if only he would get to keep players longer.

+1. Shame Spinx didn't stay. SunPayUs+Spinx would have been great duo. Tho Snappi said that sAw is easily the best coach he has worked with and they have same kind of idea how to approach the game.

Snappi's a good to very good igl,but his weakness lies in his inability to call under pressure,he's one of those igl's whose style is based on going with the flow, but big teams know how to shut that type of style down.
