I do not see it as an issue. Both are capable of going through the lower bracket and reaching playoffs.
After all only two teams will win their groups so the fifth player will always have one loss no matter what

The issue there is if one wins the group, they would meet in the semis as the other would be 3rd in group. The only way you could have 4 players in the final is if the winner then loses the final group match and gets 2nd, then they are placed on opposite sides of the playoff bracket.

Good, good. My play in was lame as blast, maybe fantasy isn`t for me. Check this team
i reached top 84% in play-in, so my words are kinda unimpressive 🤔
Anyways, im sticking with my lineup:
even though this is only the group stage, i reckon the play-in and BLAST already shown that teams cant afford to take games lightly.
We will see during the group stage which teams are out of shape, so at this point im hesitant to pick any real aggressive players.
Im really looking forward to C9-NaVi and possibly G2-FaZe in the next round, but in all honesty: almost every game will be worth watching!

well, we havent seen Virtus Pro play after Rio, so im real curious if they still have their form tomorrow.
Like i mentioned in the playin thread, Jame already mentioned Kairon two years ago as a hot prospect, so my expectation is that he REALLY wants to make this work, and you know how well organized the team plays, right?
most likely im high on copium here, but i think people are underestimating VP and overrating G2 and hopefully my lineup can profit from that.
G2-FaZe will be a real banger, i will definitely be watching that game!

Sorry, I'm a bit late to the party. I was banned for three days for saying something stupid (very funny, but stupid).
This was the first fantasy in quite some time where I was happy to find a good team pretty quickly. It was the first team I build and I told myself: "you shall not change this!" Yea, of course I changed it.
At first I wanted to go with Niko - Spinx - Magisk - Twistzz - Karrigan. But then I saw your team and that made a lot of sense so I changed it to that (sorry for copy and paste). But I gave Spinx the Defender role and Niko is my Multi-Fragger.
Then I still thought that I should experiment a bit more and wanted to build a team with Zywoo and I actually build two decent teams with him. No. 1 would have been Zywoo - GOATpreeh - jks - Broky - Karrigan, No. 2 would have been Zywoo - Spinx - jks - Twistzz - Hooxi (i know). Literally 15 minutes before the tournament began I sat here with 4 teams, talking to myself like a maniac about what I should do. I went for the team you have, I thought Hooxi or Karrigan could turn out to be a liability. I regret it a bit but it was just the first round of matches, maybe I will be more satisfied with my team if (or better: when) Karrigan and Hooxi start to lose points. I'm a bit disappointed with Niko though, I expected a lot more than 1.23 rating against BIG but thank god jks was in a good mood. 2 Boosters already triggered for me, which is nice.
I wish us a nice tournament!

Yeah it's amazing how "bad" we are compared to the potential of our team. I'd say Broky and Spinx are definitely underperforming points-wise, maybe Niko as well, like I said, 1.23 against BIG should have been a lot more. I'm sad that I didn't pick Zywoo :(
Edit: I just looked up: If I had picked Zywoo with Spinx, Twistzz, jks and hooxi, I'd be Top 5%... feels bad man.

Mediocre scores in Fantasy sofar, except some individual performances. We've seen some questionable upsets already.
A lot of teams appear to show lack of practice/form, which kinda does Katowice (and my Fantasy lineup) some injustice imo. G2 doesnt seem to have any problems kicking off this year, although i havent watched their games.
However, there are so many contenders for the title, a lot of games are bound to be spectacular and i cant wait for the second part of the event. Virtus Pro were my favorites for the title, they struggled in their first game but looked better today?

Well they looked better but being honest, G2 looks unstoppable. Jks is playing like a beast right now, Niko didn't have to truly activate so far. Hunter also played well against faze.
Let's see the next games, vitality is still dependent on zywoo and one off day from him means elimination...but the dude is an alien, he just don't have off days it seems.
Faze looks underwhelming right now with broky and ropz playing way below expectations. Both times they won they had a big performance from karrigan and when they faced G2, he came back to bot mode...meaning that if they keep playing likes this, they will be out on quarter finals...or against liquid even.
I didn't have the chance to watch outsiders or Navi unfortunately but seems like Navi is finding some form. Let's see how they fare against G2.
I will have to take risks on the fantasy playoffs because it seems like even with 4 players going through, I will get a shitty ending to this event.
