Why why why do we start matches where NA won’t be awake to watch them? There’s no reason for a game to start at 3:30am local time

at least you get to watch the quarters and etc.. while I can't because of my crappy time zone

Because on current time schedule, it will already extend into the night at local times. There is no time slot to have 8+ hours of broadcast where NA can watch all of it and you don't extend deep into the night in Poland

They don’t need 3 sets of matches in a day. That’s horrible on everyone involved. Saturates the day too much and screws your viewership

Would you instead prefer for them to extend the tournament a whole week? Because the playoffs have to be on a weeked and they couldn't have started earlier because Blast groups happened right before (and also IEM Brazil qualifiers)

They don’t have any matches Wednesday or Thursday they don’t need to extend a week longer

So you want the production crew to work 2 weeks without a break?

That shortens their days by 3 hours each ? Yes? Are you a teenager there’s tons of people who work every day without days off. These guys work 2 weeks then have 2 weeks off

Please enlighten me what profession works 10+ hour shifts for two weeks straight without a break inbetween and why you think that that is something that should actively be encouraged

Nurses, firefighters, oil field workers, EMTs. I’d much rather work every day for 3 hours less each day then having 2 days off but working 14+ hours the other days

they have people they rotate in and out for those shifts, they absolutely do not work every single day dumbass, maybe some if they choose to but theres rules in place against forcing people to work that much

Yes they do. They do 2 weeks straight 2 weeks off. There’s a severe under staffing of nurses in USA where they have to hire traveling nurses to fill in all the time.

Nah it would be pain in the ass if playins took too long

+1 4 PM to late better to start at 12 AM
2023-02-03 15:38
Go cry lol. This event happens to take place in Poland, but there will be other events taking place in America. It will never be fair for everyone but you gotta accept it and choose what’s better for you, sleep or cs.

I'm pretty sure the times are made to be convenient for the local time of the tournament location. Also majority of the viewers are from Europe anyways so it'd make sense for ESL to try to target them.
2023-02-03 15:50
Cs time is EU time
2023-02-03 15:52
lul pro scene cs and dota in NA are absolutely trash u cant tell me even 1 decent NA team, because they are not exist xD best teams = col and eg, they are absolutely trash, they will never win a tier1 tournament

Bro, I am a Navi fan living in south Korea. All the games are usually midnight or 3 am. Either I watch the game and I don't sleep and NAVI loses and I just wasted my time. Or NAVI wins which at least justifies me not sleeping. Another option is to just watch highlights, or go to YouTube stream and move backwards without knowing the score and you can basically watch it live whenever you want. TLDR: move the ended stream backwards without any match results spoilers and watch it live with the option to fast forward during eco and save rounds

its stupid ESL
