heroic does beat eg 99/100 times and furia beats ihc 99/100 times this is the 1 out of 100 tell me where i claimed outsiders could never win the major but there run was lucky, playing only 3 teams in the whole event and many favourites going out early/not even qualifying. there are levels to pro cs, ihc is no where comparible to anyone else in the tournament, even complexity who will be lucky if they qualify are much better than ihc. even if they do manage to beat nip it wil not be "ihc" playing well it will be nip underperforming vs a worse team, much like heroic performed way below their level vs eg and furia vs ihc

something similar to the old school dreamhack tournaments with t2/3 teams from different regions in it. Deep down I have an issue with the play in tournament to be honest it's way to small a format for katowice which brings me onto my next point. IEM, esl and cs players advertise cologne and katowice as the greatest cs events on the calendar which means it should contain the greatest teams cs has to offer. no one other than people from mongolia and (i assume heroic are #1 seed and will play lowest seed IHC) Heroic fans will care for heroic vs IHC and even then heroic fans wont care. it will be a boring game and it will be a wasted spot. that wouldve much better gone to furia as furia would've made for more interesting games with more viewers and revenue for the TO.
