I think if you put him on a star role in a top 10 team he'd have a 1.15+ rating.
Elige might still be better in measurable stats (like aimlab) but in game this dude is just a baller.

Elige's 2019 is 1.2R/1.3I/.78KPR. Those are literally Niko numbers and he was the best rifler for the year.
For that matter NAF's peak was also higher then Twistzz.

Maybe they do get better CT roles but typically they are playing a more self-sufficient T side.

Well Elige is getting older. He's still a + player but Twistzz is a few years behind. I would agree he's better now.
EliGE's peak was higher than Twistzz, but Twistzz mechanically is prob the best NA player of all time. I can't think of anyone else that touches him.

I think people forget about Swag. He didn't play enough for me to really place him but mechanically he's a monster. xhair placement is probably the best I've ever seen barring Niko.

Swag was done dirty. IBP should have never been perm banned its sad. He was easily a top 5 player. I would put brax on there if he had the ability to play more but i think anyone who knows cs knows hes the most wasted potential ever in CS.
It’s hard to not put brehze on that list though. This dude was a beast in 2019 and 2020 had a good year. People just forget because of the awful year eg had in 2021 and half of 2022.

Literally tied for second all time with Zywoo.
Brehze was a monster mechanically. He still shows it sometimes but for whatever reason the gods wanted to punish us and curse our best up and comer.

Yeah Brehze is insane mechanically. I still remember his 1v5 pistol clutch on Inferno. One of the best clips of all time. The downfall of EG happened because Ethan cucked the team. Dude was practicing VAL with 100T while still being contracted with EG. Idk that is messed up personally but whatever. Tarik was the glue to that team and their hype man. Cerq just lost consistency. The current EG team is good and has a lot of potential. Our problem is the NA CS scene lacks experience. Only autimatic and brehze are the only two with experience on that team. It's unfortunate but it will come with time.

Yeah Ethan really did fuck them. But I don't blame Ethan directly for causing the rest of the team to stop caring for 8 months. Obo should have been a decent replacement.

I dont directly blame Ethan but he was the reason for the downfall. I remember Richard Lewis made a video showcasing his stats and how they fell off a cliff when he was practicing with 100T. I could care less if he did that while on the bench or not salaried. But considering he was getting paid to play cs full time and he spent half of his time practicing valorant doesnt sit right. Obo should have been a good replacement and it looked good but tarik left and then it really fell apart.

Was Stewie2k holding back Grim due to jealousy? Stewie2k was calling Grim a bad player who has to be micro managed. Grim was struggling under Stewie2k. Now Grim seems to have improved quite a bit and is making plays that are smart, does not look like a player that needs to be micro managed.

If NA could just take it by the scruff of the neck like in 2019, you wouldn't need to make posts like this. In 2019 there were still NA haters. But they were just the petty ones when the facts showed NA to be the better region of 2019.

NA Orgs insist on not gathering good players and instead taking gambles on the lowest tier players for cheaper money, don't really understand it. Liquid could literally have Grim right now and their roster could be so improved but they're going to be content with their place (for some reason?) And if CoL just picked up a REAL EU awper and not Halzerk, they'd literally have a top 10 roster on their hands without even trying. The only reason 2019 was so good was because we literally had an all-star roster in Liquid, and for some reason NA refuses to make another one for the good of our scene.

OK, coL lost to BIG, to beat permitta and ENCE... once again, is that considered as NA success? It is time to celebrate Grim or coL? Im just tryin to say that it means nothing right now. I consider ENCE as wildcard, same as Sprout, coL, EG or BNE. Can they make upset and beat some1 in T1? Yes. Can they go deep? I dont think so, but lets evaluate it after tournament, not after qualifier.

Col beating ENCE? Yes, I do consider that a success when ENCE are ranked higher and have more veteran players, especially considering Col had to have some pretty strong mental game to play in that series, denying the #15 team from making it to the tournament. Not to mention, they battered Permitta like any top team should against an ACTUAL tier 2 EU team, which is highly respectable for an NA team that people like to dog on so much. People shit on the NA scene but when they get an actual good, well fought win with smart plays in the series, they're not given their flowers. Disappointing.

What a turnaround for this guy. From absolutely destroyed in liquid by stewie2k for not being a capable support (cmon man, the guy's very young and has only played good roles in t2 na, you can't expect for him to be the next RUSH) to good-great performances in big tournaments. I don't wanna get too hype for him because he's in a weak team like complexity but he can become a real piece in t1 cs, even if it's the lower half of it
