I would try wow but it feels like I'd be way too late to the party for that one. And that goes for a lot of popular MMORPGS, they can be difficult to get into when you are new and 300 content updates behind.

Hm I wont lie to you, wow is definitely hard to get into, especially because of all the add on configurations, it would take quite a while for you to fully know what was going on. And the community while generally friendly doesn't give much of a fuck about holding your hand. You gotta figure it out That being said if you like the gameplay it's pretty enjoyable from the start. The leveling is super fast and every patch basically resets most of the progress, you don't have to worry about being behind at all. And even better, you can just restart with a new class/spec easily with a new patch dropping, once you know all you need to know, and you'll probably enjoy your time fucking around til then. It's not for everyone ofc, personally it's one of the most interesting games I've ever played with how much you can adjust everything yourself and min max. But it does take time to get good and mmorpg is probably the deepest genre out there, you have to be an absolute fucking gamer to enjoy it.

That's fair, I understand the appeal of those kind of games, afterall I enjoy the Baldur's Gate games which are not far from an MMORPG I guess. I might even try out WoW some day if I had a friend group to do it with, but as it stands I find it difficult to get into a game that asks for a lot of commitment. Even csgo I hardly play nowadays. However, I will try to be more open minded when it comes to the genre in the future. Maybe with the right friend group and the right game, it would appeal to me more.

For Tarkov it honestly just depends on the map. Running anything other than Customs or Factory to me is just a boring running simulator.

I most definitely agree with you but in my experience only cheaters play on the map now. Only way I can play Labs is on a weekday past 12AM.

I think Anno 1800 is by far the best "city builder", even though it's more of a management / tycoon game - nothing even comes close imo. You can play saves for 500+ hours and still have goals in your game.

Like with any other paradox game, you use mods to unlock mote tiles. I even forgot it was like that with vanilla, but yeah thats pretty stupid

RPGs in general. They are more annoying then boring to be fair. Especially the ones that require you to do side quests to defeat some bosses in the main story. It makes side quests main quests, make the game longer (I don't like super long games, I always drop them) etc. It's just not my type of games.

games with pseudo cut scenes that you cant skip. like the sections of TLOU or the new God of War where you slowly walk in a line and listen to 10 minutes of dialogue while being unable to do anything.

I liked Dayz when it was less about stupid survival and more about finding some guns and killing people/zombies. Now you spawn and are likely to die before finding any food.

Survivalcraft games. I want to like them, there are so many of them out there that are so highly esteemed, but at some point I just get sick of collecting resources to upgrade tiers on tiers on tiers on TIERS just to keep going. The first 5 hours is usually fun but then it starts feeling so redundant/regressive I want to die.

I play almost only warzone 2. It just feels great and is a lot of fun with friends to play. I have not played tarkov but the concept sounds boring to me. I tried pubg but movement and gunplay feel very clunky and slow just not well made in my opinion. I like the concept of pubg but maybe if it was made with a bit more fluid movement and better feeling guns and animations. But I have warzone 2 so why bother :)
