btw it's not about being responsible, working breeds are high maintenance and challenging dogs, it's a nightmare for inexperienced person. if he wants a chill dog or has no idea about dog training then he should get cocker spaniel or showline labrador, not a GSD

gsd are so loyal breed so they're actually rather easy to teach new tricks and stuff but you'll need a ton of disciplinity and time. tbh it goes with any breed or else you should go and get a cat.

well this is what I am talking about. working dogs like GSD, Malinois or Dutchies require insane amount of time compared to most breeds therefore I would never recommend such dog to a person who is not ready to handle it

russian dogs are a little bit dirty and somewhat unloyal, but they are harmless overall. Samoyed is a good choice
If you can handle it an American lab or German Shepherd are the most loyal / friendly dogs you can buy IMO.
I have a yellow lab and it's the sweetest thing on the planet.
Golden retrievers are cool to.

Depends on you and what you're looking for mate.
I've had a German Shephard and a Black Labrador in the past and we now have a Whippet. All of them have been amazing companions.
Sight hounds are so different in personality it's crazy and oh so fast runners it's a real joy to watch the zoomies, no other dogs can keep up. Aside from a sprint they love sleep, company, digging and jumping.

Retrievers are goated dog breeds, I recommend. I have a nova scotia retriever, she is smarter than some of the people I meet in this forum. I wouldn't recommend this exact breed if you are not tryharding as a dog owner. They get frustrated without activation and are much harder to control due to less fucks they give. Easiest(best) retriever breeds: labs and golden. Just make sure they are not working breed (huge difference in hunting drive, etc)

Best dog is BASENJI by far............the dog does not leave hair at all.
he doesnt bark.....so is good if u want quiet.
he is not small but not big is medium
the problem is that u need to be a alpha to teach hiim things, cause he is very smart...smarter than most hltv users for sure.
and they are pretty expensive and hard to find......basenji best dog ever if u have money and you are alpha, is the perfect dog.

Depends on what kind of person you are and what you expect from your dog.
really depends on you and what your family composition is like.
does the dog need to be family friendly? guard the house? want a relaxed dog that doesnt bark all day? but does need some outdoor movement? get a female shepherd.
is your gf strong if you have one and must she be able to take the dog out for a walk? if she is not strong or good with dogs get a little barker :D
consider stuff like this before getting one.

adopt homeless dog
as long as its not one of those rat dogs (chihuahuahuaha or something similar) or pitbull then anything goes.
