Maybe because it was too obvious for anyone to predict. Why would someone bother to "predict" something so obvious
it was, this was one of the easier predictions. this was both players form end 2022. chances where high this would continue early 2023 specialy considering the mess navi is in.
like usual simple fans are surprised if his guy isnt the best in something csgo related.
while we are on the subject simple is far from the best teamplayer. also his gamesense isnt the best. tier A at max. shocker right?
maybe also a shocker to you csgo is more then just aim and confidence😱

yeah the thread started out like that. the french guy highlighted the past 3 months was easy to predict which I replied too.

Nope, his context is still prediction done at start of 2022. He is only speaking about 3 months because thats how the stats are measured. Three months being the hltv norm of recent form.

I remember while reading his post I read "begin 2022" instead of "beginning of 2022" so I assumed he made a type o in perhaps the year as well. my bad eitherway I did give you an time estimate from which it was easy to predict for me.
autumn/winter in 2022 longer then 3 months ago. that isnt satisfying enough? at that time not much predicted this yet could be enough people did since it was one of the easier predictions.

He clearly speaks in the context of the thread which is predicting in the beginning of 2022. His comments starts from his first comment and continue from there, not from the second comment like you are pointing out. I do agree that if you ignore the first comment, it would be easy to get to the same conclusion as you.
Funny thing about this discussion is that the french guy made a guy which you took literally and seriously and wanted to point out how stupid everyone else is who didn't predict it. Completely missing the point. Its funny.

actually it was he vague french guy that made the context open to his interpretation. what is clear to you isnt objectively clear to everyone else. I mean for all we know he could be talking out of his ass. do you believe the french guy predicted this at the start of 2022? His joke is very stupid if he didn't mean at beginning of 2022. French jokes are usually relatively good. Therefore its obvious what he is talking about. Thats how I see it :)

I would. I remember playing against Navi on MM a few years ago and me and my mates absolutely destroyed them. I was at the top of the scoreboard with 40+ frags and simple was at the bottom with 11-30 and since that day I knew that he's overrated and not a good player at all.

The changes he needs have to come from the org mainly... electronic is not a good choice for IGL and adding all the noobs as 5th player doesn't help at all. npl might be a hot prospect, but it will take some time to settle as a 1st tier player, and I'm not too sure s1mple can afford wasting the next year or two... by the time he'll be 28 things will be so much different for him as a CS player.

The thing is, this is a precarious position for both the org and him as a player. Taking a break is a good idea, however, it would leave NAVI in the dust. There's so much pressure on the guy.

I understand why you wouldn't want to take a break if you were him. But at the same time it's very clear that he needs help. If NAVI falls off as a result that's just an unfortunate byproduct of this, and I'm sure it would hurt him to see his team fall apart, but he's stuck between a rock and a hard place.

If i could see all of my forum posts in my profile, not the last 15 or how much it shows, i could spend 10 minutes and find you at least 2-3 comments like "GOAT Kenny > Zywh0", "KennyS > zybot" etc.
I'm not a hater and more of a fan of course, flag checks out, there's basically no french cs players hating ZywOo, it's either "who?" (silvers) or some kind of appreciation, but i was much more of a KennyS fan back in the days than ZywOo's i am right now.

I have opened a thread 3 weeks ago which was deleted for some reason talking about s1mple that 2022 was his last #1 award. He was already falling apart at the end of the year, still managed to get #1 spot, good for him. Zywoo looks way more solid in the other hand.
The war probably affected him emotionally, you'll see it in the match against Outsiders, he refuses to lose to russians and that will make him a worse player, bad decisions, random overpeeks etc...

He is dropping off slightly maybe due to age but also I think he's becoming more of a team player. He has 2 youngsters in b1t and npl so he can't just go back to old style of doing whatever he wants during the round. Also I feel like he makes a lot more dumb plays when NaVi are losing because he feels like he needs to do something in order because he can't rely on npl to do a good job

dev1ce is finished. NiKo has to do a lot of things in 2-3 years for him to surpass s1mple. He has to maintain the form he currently has while racking up 20+ MVPs. It shouldn't be hard for him to get to 15 with the squad he has right now, but getting to 20 is a different beast altogether. The biggest threats to s1mple's position are m0nesy and ZywOo. And I honestly believe that those two will be ahead of him when their careers are done.

Well Niko doesnt need 20+ MVPs. As you said he needs 15 which he should be able to get. He has been in great form for 6 years already so he could do 2-3 more with this team.
Dev1ce might be finished but his history is not, 4 majors +2x major mvp + his other individual achievments already make him a goat contender, if he will be able to win few more tournaments before finishing his career some people might say that he should be ahead of s1mple in goat debate.
Yeah Zywoo is easily the most obvious threat for s1mple but m0nesy? idk man hard to say after 1 year. Zywoo in his first year was already the best player in the world while m0nesy ended up 7th, thats not that threatening.

Wtf are you talking about LMFAO. First of all, S1mple is 25... 7 years ago (when he was 18) he was Top4 player in the world. And that was his first HLTV placement. Thats a lot of "ifs" lol, yeah sure m0nesy looks like he can keep up his 1.17 form (which is not top1 worthy) but its questionable if G2 can keep up their winning ways lol, you are all making era out of 17 maps. So many ifs. If monesy dies in 1 year he wont overtake anyone...

since oct or more, it was predictable, but at the begin of 2022, i doubt, his down fall is showing way worst than coldzera, that falls fro 2x top 1 to top 10, i think, s1mple can not even be top 20 in this year, if this continues.
If they still play like this, maybe he can stop to play cs for a few months, navi is washed, barely playing a series good, c9 played like crap, liquid was good, but they are falling apart

S1mple will mostly be in top 5 even after a bad start but even if he isn't, this is not even close to how much cold fell off. Cold fell down to oblivion after leaving SK core. Making comparison to Grim is stupid and no context. What you should look at more is Navi as a team and how the second highest rated player is sitting at 1.05 which s1mple is way ahead of. Navi is not looking good, you cant be top 1 in a team thats not looking good.

difference between s1mple and zywoo is that wen zywoo performs shit, his team will never reach playoffs. so zywoo can underperform a little and noone cares that much since he was solo carrying since 2019 without another top 20 player in his team.
thats not the case with s1mple. he have multiple top players in his team and if he still underperform thats completely on him.

Yes, s1mple doesnt need to perform like ZywOo to be able to win, never said the opposite. Doesnt change the fact that every tournament that NaVi won was still carried by him.

no at all. every event navi won or reached finals was carried by multiple top players while s1mple being the best player.
zywoo on the other had hard carried with 1.33+ rating on cologne while his teammates were below 1.00 rating. even during last years big events, b1t was so close to s1mple while no one in vitrality is close to zywoo in any event they played.
there is a huge difference between them. one is carrying with other top players in his team and the other one in solo carrying.

dude. even if s1mple doesn't perform navi can do something. just look at navi since last august. s1mple was average, but navi is reaching a lot of playoff without any issues.
but look at vitality, when he was average, vitality couldn't do shit. they only reached 2 playoffsonly after zywoo had 1.3+ and 1.4+ ratings in those events
even in katowice, zywoo is solo carrying with 1.33 rating while his teammates are around 1.03 or below.
navi will atleast be a top[ 10 team without s1mple. but vitality won make top 20 without zywoo.

Because NaVi doesnt depend only on s1mple. NaVi cant win the majors or IGLs without s1mple, but they can reach semis at least.
it's okay that people waited for this moment for years, but nobody understand how competitive scene become now and navi in transition period. yesterday they were outplayed, but it means nothing because navi still on tournament and can win Katowice. Everyone know how s1mple and co play on arena. on Katowice he has 1 bad match, but each of navi players didn't perform at all. S1mple don't post anything after yesterday game and I'm sure that he know current situation and what he need to improve, it's not a sign that he became so bad and when whole team confidence will start to grow we will see how he really can destroy other players. Right now only g2 destroy them game by game and Sasha not performing, but all most important games are from Friday to Sunday and after them we can make any conclusions

He has 1.17 rating on Katowice (G2 game affected a lot).
Now, imagine Navi reachs finals and S1mple upgrades his rating to 1.25-1.28 (s1mple on stage in play-offs steps ups usually). And if they suddenly win G2 in final :), he gets an mvp. Would be nice to see how s1mple haters and critics would react
