Yeah, why buy an unfinished, rushed to publish game that is going to go through so much fine tuning when you can buy it when it's finally fully fixed and optimized (and maybe on sale). Or if it doesn't get fixed, save your money. Ez.

I haven't checked any reviews yet, quite literally nothing just so I don't spoil anything for myself. But my assumption is that it will have bugs in it that'll get fixed with the public getting to play it in mass. Like Cyberpunk was in development for such a long time and yet it was a shit show (although it was a far more ambitious game than this)

Yeah - that happens a lot. A few of the reviewers mentioned the developers of HL "took their time" with it so it seems they did it right with this one. Not that I'm trying to push people to buy it early. I never buy games when they come out because I prefer to buy them on sale, but it did seem like this one is in pretty good shape at release.
