Well for a football fan in the UK you generally support your local good team, because you were born / live there. It has more meaning that just supporting a team that wins. I was born in Croydon so I support Crystal Palace, there have been many tough times there lol way more than good ones. Basically you are what's known as a "Glory hunter", people who support teams that win and don't give a shit about anything else. That's pure bullshit, there's no emotional tie to the team. Absolute filth.

Instead see who are the players of certain team, see what their stadium looks like, what is their history, the environment of the games, etc...
