Very cool game. played a bit yesterday and looks amazing very cool. I expected a lot graphics and quest wise but I'm actually impressed by how smooth the gameplay is. The blocking feels kinda weird but I guess I will get used to it. Any fellow hogwarts legacy enjoyers? What house did you get?

don't worry.
Make sure to sleep and eat good and go to gym very often. also wake up early and eat more healthy. I can't stress going to gym/physical excercise enough.

yeah you have to be poor to wait for pricedrop. If you dont buy it on release, you dont actually want to play it or really cant afford it.

Assuming being poor to be the only reason is obviously a fallacy if you cannot think of any other reason.
I don't want to pay full-dollar for a game that is prone to bugs, so I will wait for the prerelease patches to be fixed and then I'll consider purchasing a game I really do want to play.
I didn't realise being poor was the sole and only reason for not purchasing games on release, so colour me surprised.

On a gtx 1070 it will be rough as far as I heard and settings will have to be on low. I heard even on high end pcs the framedrops in busy areas with many npcs can still happen.

yep and some of those single player games that have difficulty settings just turn the game into a bullet sponge instead which ruins the fun imo. love terrarias difficulty settings, each difficulty the boss gets better ai and different moves

they have similar difficulty to doom so def agree, very few manage to make them game harder while also make it fair

yes. good difficulty curve is more about dying fast and killing fast and smarter ai. Makes it more fast pace and thus more difficult. sadly a lot of games make it a lot slower
Great game, but the lack of multiplayer functionality doesn't make me feel rushed to grind it. The combat is also a bit more involved than I expected. Even with the damage warning I almost got destroyed on my second duel because I lost track of the other enemies. And people complain about their only being like 26 spells, but damn if you can't stretch them out.
I still wish there was some GTA like functionality. Going into hogsmeade and throwing an incendio at a random student should get me a 5 star rating with Dementors on my ass and Aurors popping in around me. But that was just a pipedream

This, honestly. Lack of morality/notoriety system is off putting.
What's really off putting is the lack of classes, curfew and House points system. You really don't feel like a student, more like a tourist.

Big game for the wrong reasons. It's a good RPG, not a good HP game, and it being connected to Harry Potter may as well be coincidental. It really has nothing of the magic of the series, and all Hogwarts is is unfortunately just a nice tour.
They spent so much on details in Hogwarts, which is cool, but they kinda forgot all the activities you're supposed to do there. Like not even a game of wizard chess, like the 5th game.

story very mid, but gameplay itself actually fun. 7/10 game, once you understand how to actually fight efficiently it gets much more fun aswell.
People who pick Slytherin/ Griffindor make me want to go Slug-Vomiting Charm on them.

Im playing max difficulty (lol) with no minimap
I have some lags also when I enter the huge hall with every students inside, i updated my drivers and i had way less lags but still in some areas. I switched from High to Medium and 0 problem but the graphic difference isnt huge at all.
For the moment I like the game but when I see the map outside I feel like its a bit "small"

Enjoying the game so far, only 20% tho, completed 1st trial, spent a lot of time in side quests and exploring to find collectables. Didnt have any issue so far other than one time the game exited for no apparent reason and updated, they recommended low settings but i changed it to high and didnt seem to cause anybissue and ran smoothly

I would love to buy this game but it cost 250pln= 50 euro and I have to pay extra cash for tax from poland 23% so it cost 300pln - 62 euro XDDD
