They will fall off in 1 or 2 months I feel. Just before major. Katowice was a good run but it's like the rain major mvp. Jks had a 1.24 rating which is not gonna happen every tournament.
They might still be a top 4 team but once they get figured out by a FaZe or Heroic it's gg.

i dont think so. niko is playing like niko again and monesy is playing amazing as well. hunter is super consistent so jks maybe not showing up 1 day shouldnt affect them an extreme amount. it will affect them maybe not as many 2-0 but i still see them 2-1 every team right now. they seem untouchable.

HooXi doesn't need +0.8 rating tbh, he has the worst sites as an anchor, literally no support, and just goes first everytime or sets NiKo up, he has really good stats for what he does tbh
even someone like NiKo or ZywOo would barely go +1.05-1.1 with these roles

You can't win every match while your stat's are below 1.0 if you just look at the evidence of them winning every match but hooxis rating isn't 1.0 you can't win every match just look at them winning every mathcbnfmmdodjd dbs. Karrigan is literally the 2nd best IGL and still in his prime as a caller. He can definitely figure them out. Especially when all the lime-light is on G2 rn. It's harder to stay as top 1 than to get there in the first place. Can G2 hold on? IDK

FaZe has bigger issues rn. It's not just G2 being better. Sure they can figure them out but they also have to pay close attention to heroic and navi. It's not like G2 is the only team doing well right now. It's not that simple.

Again, it's not as simple as that. FaZe have been a mess since after the playerbreak last year. They lost to liquid. The only team whos homework is figuring out G2 is heroic. FaZe needs a lot more work.

FaZe have been consistent in bo3s since the playerbreak. Arguably the most consistent only losing to tournament winners. They aren't a mess. Just need a mentality fix. They still made a final and a semi after Cologne.

That’s why if someone falls off a bit, the other 3 guys and maybe add hooxi in the mix, can compensate for the decrease in performance, all 4-5 guys can’t pop off at the same time, either all 4 post 1.05-1.10 rating or 2 guys post 1.20-1.30 rating
Even if G2 wins a few tournaments and everyone analyze their gameplay and come up with counter-Strats, they don’t have much structured Strats to exploit, they play a loose style and rely mainly on team play and firepower. In straight duels, it’s likely you’ll lose. Like with heroic vs g2, heroic lost to g2 coz although they are a well-oiled machine, using heavy teamplay and Strats, G2 also use teamplay but they have more insane individuals that can pop off and win duels and teamfights a lot of the time
