Hey guys,
I am currently working on my bachelor thesis and I absolutely hate it. What are some good tools that help make life easier when writing a scientific work? I use Citavi for my literature management and Overleaf as my editor, I am looking for stuff that allows me to easier find and evaluate sources.
Any recommendations?
the entire thread just got purged, except for your comment. so congrats lmao.
All my searches on jstor turn up empty, I think it is not super well-equipped for computer science. Thank you though.

ah, didnt see the scientific work part of the post, and comp sci is out of my fortee sadly but a quick cursory search says IEEE are good comp sci journals
apologies for not having good info
That is just a Citavi alternative, no?
How did you go about evaluating your sources? Did you actually read through the papers or did you just CTRL+F and try to find something that fits what you are trying to say?
oh, i guess i misunderstood the question. i graduated with a BSc in CS as well, but i never did much research papers. i don't think there's really much you can do to narrow down research papers/sources without reading through the abstracts of each individual paper, however my uni did have an internal library with a lot of different research journals and networks built in that you could search for keywords/tags. not sure if you have something like that. you could also look at ssrn.com/index.cfm/en/compscirn/ and ieeexplore.ieee.org/Xplore/home.jsp
