All I see is that a more reliable cars are being used in rough conditions.
But to actually explain since you've asked:
If a german car manufacturer decided back in the days to cover the market of middle east or africa, you wouldn't be posting this picture.
Simply because the mechanics/folks there would know how to fix the cars themselves as they'd be accustomed, also the local market would have the required spare parts available if needed. Not that those toyotas (or almost any) ever need spare parts in the first place.

I have not googled facts, but I have a strong believe VW is using the same parts in VW, Audi and Skoda. Especially in the budget segment.

I believe Seat have same thing, Seat Leon for example. Volkswagen good car, but i love Skoda more, if we look at affordable cars, they have same parts and u get more in Skoda. And more over personally i like how Skoda looks more. I was curious cos thought its well known fact, and mb u have something to say why u would prefer volkswagen, even though both great cars manufacturers

I literally had problems with back camera, went to dealership and they literally told me "the camera is used up". I mean, how the fk 6 months old camera can be used up?
Speakers - sometimes work, sometimes doesnt. GPS - better use google maps.

From my experiece
1 - toyota avensis - literally unbeatable. I did like 120k km's in this car without a single issue. Gave it to my brother, next 150k km's, still zero issues.
2 - RS6 C7 - best car I ever had, still not sure if I regret selling it but ill probably buy Rs6 C8 anyway
Worst car I ever had - Skoda Superb (2022). We drive skoda's at my company and there are always issues with those cars.

I believe a hobby is any Activity you enjoy doing. So for people who like driving, the car is a tool to drive aimlessly all night listening to music (so a nice interior and great speakers is important), or to take to a track (Good handing and speed required) etc.
I hate people who buy cars just for Status cuz then I get coloured with the same brush, like Im showing off ;/
Also I think if you see a Standard E-class or 5 series, yh thats for status 99% of the time. But an AMG or M, most of the time thats someone who likes driving as a hobby.
It's only purely a tool if you don't ENJOY driving.

Normal Mercs are better imo because the interior of an AMG and normal class is not that different ( normal class interior is amazing) Alcantara/leather seats, beautiful LEDs, quality materials, really nice stitching, nice HUD display and easy to use Navi thing.
BMW on the other hand, I had the 2023 2 series GC in M-Pakiet for 2 weeks. Squeaky plastics, poor speakers, trashy LED lighting, normal leather, okay steering wheel, meh HUD display, okay navi thing.
Now when it comes to M sport/AMG driving performance, I only had the A45s 2022, and that was incredible but cant compare to M2 Comp. Usually BMWs are famous for being the drivers car. Depend what your looking for I guess.

The F150 is a very useful vehicle but people just buy it cause they’re stupid, muscle cars honestly suck, a 6.4 hemi produces as much horsepower as a 2.0 German engine and consumes more gas. Corvettes nowadays look like regular sport cars which I don’t like, I like them much more when they had their own style but it’s still a very good car for the price. I worked in a luxury car wash and was immensely impressed by them

i personally dont like dodge as well, basically boats, but speed is not everything to all. They are a thrill to drive, and people are willing to trade some speed and built quality for it. This goes for the mustang and camaro as well, though I must say the 2024 mustang looks really good now, quality wise too. Buying pickup trucks is not stupid, much more useful than sports cars, people buy them the same way how sports cars are appealing plus its an utility vehicle if you ever need to use it. I honestly really like the c8 corvette z06, so I cant really agree with that point, but I also do understand how people can miss the roar of a low rumble front engine corvette.

Easily best: Renault Laguna -99, that was a fucking Toyota Hilux level durability, with Rolls Royce comfortability and tech that makes 2023 German cars look like Ladas. Something broke? It cost literally pennies to fix.
