They've breaked their overall winstreak with a 2-0 loss.

You are right and wrong at the same time. His leade is fine, we've seen it on post-match interviews but at the same time his aim has gotten way worse than it was on Katowice and BLAST Groups.
The detail you missing is that whole team's aim decreased after Kato.
I think they celebrated too much, not that much like on EPL 13 but the result is here. Maybe they will recover during the event but my prediction is pessimistic.

g2 are definitely beatable now and higher t1 teams won't require absolute peaks to beat them (even if c9 in their peak would win vs those team)

It is relevant, because you’re talking about G2 losing their win streak 2-0. My point is that no team would have beaten C9 the way they were playing, so really it’s not that big a deal.
Plus the pressure is off G2 now, the Nuke streak is over and they can reset. Losing in the early EPL stages isn’t going to cause them to tilt longer term, so no need for the pessimism.
Men they are just playing 2 much csgo.
None of the players are used to getting to finals all the time, so playing this many matches will:
1. make your enemies get more DEMOS against you
2. make the players overall more tired while also getting more warmed up.
Alot of presure on these guys. Lets let them cooldown a bit and then we can go to conclusions
They are not in the greatest form right now, but they did their job, they qualified. Also, this tournament is not very high on their priority list, they could be trying new stuff out and ramping up for the major. I think its good that they lost some matches before the major, its better that the f ups happen on epl rather than major.
G2 simply had a lucky time when they were the best because team like navi is currently struggling with roles and players to the point where they only play 1 map in which they aren't even good at ( inferno )

They were not lucky at the slightest, they just play better counter strike than everybody else, same with heroic. G2 and heroic are just a league above everybody right now.

Let the guys rest a while they are oversaturated, they have almost a month to rest and practice, lets speak when they play in playoffs, then we can see whats their real form
