never listened to lithuanian music before, good vocals and i like the instrumental
a bit slow for my liking sadly, instrumental isnt bad
like this one more than the one before, horns are good
this one sounds weird to me but good, also points for making me remember jungle, one of their songs was in a game soundtrack that i played when i was younger, got super nostalgic for a while
The Forever Story by JID if you wanna listen to pure lyricism and story telling with mixed energies from slow and mellow to fast and energetic.
Luv4Rent by Smino if you wanna hear a little more experimental / psychedelic hip hop.
and pretty much anything by Mac Miller, he's been my top 1 artist for years now for his different styles in each albums he's released.

cant listen to everything on these albums cus theres a lot of comments here buut
forever story, listened to surround, better days, sistanem, and galaxy, liked all of them but imo better days was the weakest but not by that much. good overall and planning to listen to it in full later. praying this thread dont get 404d so i can come back to these in more detail.

Oh yeah I get those, From luv4rent is better off if you listen to the entire album from start to finish, unfortunately you missed out on some of the stronger songs from the song like No L's, Pro Freak, Blu Billy and Lee and Lovie. Smino is not really for everyone but he's really underrated and imo a hidden gem, especially if you explore his discography. (Hot take but he reminds me of Andre 3000 with his unique style).
With The Forever Story, I highly recommend listening to this album from start to finish as well to get the full experience of it. You get JID's full talent, especially in the extended edition of the album as 2007 (the original ending to the album but got cut because of sample clearances.), a 7 minute song where JID talked about his come up as an artist.
The Forever Story is also a sequel to his 2017 album The Never Story which shows you that he's been hella creative with his rap skills when he first started. I really recommend listening to that album whenever you have time after listening to the entirety of The Forever Story

thats a lot so i gotta go speed round, 1 from each, i dont like picking the most popular songs out of an album to gauge it but speed round be like that
listened to plastic beach for a while, old favourites are stylo and rhinestone eyes, gorrilaz is great
picked suzanne from songs of leonard cohen, good slow song
shook ones, pt ii is good, i mainly like modern rap/hip hop but this one is a standout from most of the 90s stuff i hear, very good
glassworks: VI is good, super calming
ive heard a lot about GY!BE from a friend, sadly short on time so ill have to come back to this later but skimming through 09-15-00 was a lot
titus andronicus forever was short but good, the vocals can seem drowned out at times
orgone accumulator was one of the only songs where i enjoyed just sitting and listening compared to listening while working and i really enjoyed it in that respect

Yeah :D early 2000s to 2010s was a blast man. I haven’t seen I:Gorr live but couple friends warmed me up to them, I mean, nobody else does similar sound. Feels great to support underground sound though!
