pros with the fastest reaction time

Italy alastt27
1.m0nesy, no doubt about this, not bc he is fast, but actually bc he always clicks before his opponents 2.b1t 3.sh1ro 4.NiKo 5.ZywOo/s1mple

Topics are hidden when running Sport mode.
Zywoo has insane reaction time, top 1 for sure that what makes him good

he clearly has an above average reaction time among pros, but not top 1, and that's not the reason he is good, it's his brain.

tbh watching zywoo povs are one of the most awful things you could do, zywoo is the only player that's like going to make all the casual plays, and somehow instead of you dying in these situation, he's going to pull off a triple kill with awp. he's obviously smart and his skill is amazing, but I just can't explain it, it's like some 6th sense, I honestly feel like watching his demos barely gives you anything to learn.

Untrue, ZywOo's decision-making is so overrated. His aim is what makes him so good.

He may be one of the smartest, definitely not the smartest though but he has by far the best aim of any pro in history.

Would be nice to see different pros testing their reaction time in for example Human Benchmark. How high up would m0nesy be in that and how big part of his quick reactions in game come from his reaction time

there were already some tests for astralis and big, magisk has a pretty fast reaction time, also s1mple did a reaction time on stream, he had like 180 avg, but at that time he had zowie mouse, which buttons hugely decrease the speed of click, yekindar on stream did too 165 avg. It also depends on hz.

REZ is insane too
2023-03-06 09:57
Ok, those sound pretty average to me (I got 145-155ms in my tests). Would be also nice to see how the older pros compare to younger since so many people think one of the biggest reasons for 30+ year olds not being able to compete at the highest level comes from slower reaction time due to age.

What the fuck hahahahahahaha. Average reaction time is 200-250 ms my dude. Either you are lying or just not self aware.

The average reaction time is 3/4 of a second (150-300 milliseconds). Why would you try to ridicule someone without actually knowing shit about the topic? Cringe kid.

You are the one who knows nothing bionumbers.hms.harvard.edu/bionumber.asp.. 220 Ms Just do a quick Google ffs. 150ms is at the top percentile of reaction time, lol. Also, 3/4 of a second is 750 ms. You are absolutely clueless.
2023-03-06 14:33
Some other links for your clueless mind humanbenchmark.com/tests/reactiontime 273 ms(243 with the usual 30 ms input lag time) 150 ms is at the top 75% (wrong apparently it is 98.8% percentile #42, which is even worse) blazepod.com/blogs/resources/what-is-a-n.. "Average visual reactiontime is 0.25 seconds. Reaction time for audio stimuli is 0.17 seconds. Theaverage reaction timefor kinesthetic (touch) stimuli is 0.15 seconds." Anything below 190ms is world class reaction time. And thats IF its a consistent average and not done on antecipation.

2023-03-06 15:20
blame Brave AI lmao prnt.sc/QTNQSpRjJynX The copy paste was wrong but the fact that you linked human benchmark as a source of actual statistics is retarded. The graph draws average response time a human fuckin clicks the green on the site. That counts in people that just start the test and go afk for 2 hours or more, making the data collected there irrelevant. And the second link you linked is a fuckin 404 page so wtf.
2023-03-06 15:39
1 reply
Human benchmark isn't braindead, they know some people will troll the test, either by refusing to click or by setting up macros to click with inhumanly fast speed. These are simply removed as outliers in any 101 data analysis course. All the links are working.
2023-03-06 15:42
I know I got really good reflexes (the Human Benchmark says my 148ms avg for 5 tests is in the 98,8 percentile), but I also know a lot of guys that get around 160-170ms in the same reaction time test. This is how the people doing the Human Benchmark's Reaction time test do on average: imgur.com/a/qh5KMwN
2023-03-06 14:50

Its an insane reaction time, its not "average" by any means. Hence why i said that either you are lying or not self aware to know your reflexes are nuts.
2023-03-06 14:51

As you can see from the picture, a really large portion of people do get under 200ms though, I wouldn't say "Anything below 190ms is world class reaction time.". It's good but nothing special. I know my reaction time isn't average but I was saying those 180ms & 165ms mentioned in #9 sounded pretty average to me since like I said I know a bunch of guys who get under 170ms results.
2023-03-06 15:00
a friend of mine has close to 100ms... at least he claims to. Now thats unfair:D
2023-03-07 15:54
2 replies
I really doubt he can have close to 100ms (depends what close means obviously), that sounds inhuman or lucky guessing when to react. I think sports like running use the 100ms as a minimum time and if people are faster than that it counts as false start even if they technically don't start before they are allowed. My absolute best actual reactions in the Human Benchmark tests have been about 135ms

Im gonna ask him to test it next time again:D, im pretty sure he did some 110 and 120 runs, but maybe thats not his average:D
2023-03-07 16:09
nah i doubt this, reaction time doesn't do much for pros it's all about crosshair placement, aim precision, knowledge of angles, decision making and gamesense overall
2023-03-06 14:18
2 replies
Yeah that's my opinion too but I've seen a lot of people saying that the little bit slower reaction times are very meaningful. Imo probably the biggest factor for older players going out from the game is just lack of motivation to grind and the ability to adapt to meta, not some physical stuff like reaction times.
2023-03-06 14:44
1 reply
yeah reaction time is nice to have but you just gotta know ur angles and how you peek/ hold them in order to kill the opponent
2023-03-07 16:10
lol studies show your reaction time only decrease about 10-20 millisecond at that age. don't spread this silly misinformation XD. for pros at that age it's due to being in diff place in life like wanting a family or wanting to do other things xd.
2023-03-07 05:37

I know, that's why I said "many people think..." and not "I think...". Also said the same in #39.
2023-03-07 10:14
IMO this is why pros can hold such tight angles and why you see people get insta headshotted after peeking an angles. I could never understand why peeks seems slow motion on stream, every time someone peeks me if my crosshair is tight they will go past before I can react, even with an AWP. The thing is that the peeks aren't slow, the pros are just that fast.

I asked ChatGPT why's exactly does it do "The "Hunden benchmark" is a performance test specifically designed for the popular first-person shooter game, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CSGO). It is named after the professional CSGO player, Nicolai "Hunden" Petersen, who is known for his attention to detail and dedication to optimizing his gameplay. The benchmark involves playing a pre-recorded demo of a specific game scenario that is carefully crafted to test various aspects of a player's performance. The scenario involves navigating through a series of obstacles, killing a set number of enemies, and completing various objectives within a limited time frame. The benchmark is used to measure a player's FPS (frames per second) and overall performance in CSGO. It is particularly useful for identifying performance bottlenecks and determining the optimal settings for graphics and other game parameters. The benchmark is also used by professional players and teams to fine-tune their gameplay and gain a competitive edge. Overall, the Hunden benchmark is a valuable tool for CSGO players and enthusiasts who want to optimize their gameplay and achieve the highest levels of performance in this popular esports game."

Pretty sure Rez is near the top, judging from his short awp stint. For some reason Tabsen comes to mind as well, but it might be that he is just good at holding angles, because he does it alot

anyone can have a bad tournament, and it's situational, for example awpers like sh1ro and device that are corner holders most of the time will have better stats on "time to damage", but it doesn't mean they have faster reaction time.

im sure he must've cut 20 to 40 ms after years of playing aim benchmarks, have you seen his target switching, how quick he is with checking angles and his ct stats? and how effecitve he is with the deagle (except i havent watched cs that much in the last 6 months) After doing some research i found that he had a time to damage of 300 ms, that was long before he started using aimlab. The pro avg is 600 ms. This should tell you something, cant be the only crosshair placement abusing.
