You don't rate a player highly in all time lists solely off skill if they haven't done anything, and zywoo hasn't done anything. He'll get really high once he wins prestige events, majors, etc. Right now he has a cologne mvp and that's it basically. Arguably he shouldn't have gotten that mvp since he played worse than the liquid players in that final.

Because Device invested in a better team and in better teammates. It took years with the same guys before they saw real results. Dupreeh, Xyp9x, Magisk and Gla1ve aren't star players they just had insane chemistry. Look what they have achieved without eachother. I mean Vitality literally has most of the Astralis "Star Core" and they have won 1 tier one event. ZywOo is a star player but he also takes up a shit ton of space in a team. Device takes very little in comparison which makes more room for a player like BlameF to take it. ZywOo very infamously also doesn't perform on the big stage as often he just smurfs in group stages. this thread is about judging players though, not teams. individually, zywoo is far ahead of device. if astralis had zywoo back then in their era instead of device, they would have won 5 or 6 majors.
