bruv, gpu mining algorithms aren't the only type of crypto mining algorithms. also you could set hashrate limits, current cryptos don't do this because they want miners competing for more hashrate because it makes the network more secure by having more miners, but this blockchain wouldn't need that motivation because miners wouldn't be mining for their own profits, it would be a side effect of consuming content. and it's not better from a producer pov, it's better from a consumer pov which is why the consumers would use it, but since the crypto streaming websites would be decentralized, the producers content would get uploaded even if they didn't do it themselves, so they would be forced to upload it or miss out, and of course consumers would watch the producer uploaded version instead of the reuploaders so that they could support the producers. a simple verification system lets people know if the uploaders are legit, the verification will also be necessary with deepfakes becoming more realistic.
