I think a lot of it has to do with other teams just getting better, faster as well.. who knows. People are too quick to jump to conclusions. It's only March.

+1, prep is so important now and a lot of teams know what theyre doing so anyone could win any match, wouldnt say its karrigans fault. But he does have a ton of firepower so maybe the results should be better? Maybe 8/10

for now ? i would say 8/10 he is doing very well with how shit faze are granted some of the resaults have been bad but he is fairing well if he does not win the IGS , then will be proven as 6 month merchant ... and that would suck

I don't understand this logic. It's the same team that won major. It's the same team that dominated and the worse part there isn't a clear "X person is a problem" with FaZe and they are still bad. Wouldn't you put that on IGL and coach ?

yeah kind of, but sometimes I see some mistakes being made that are mostly the players' faults, such as overpeeking and stuff. But yeah of course the coach should say something about that

Karrigan was always good when he joined winning trophys etc but as times come he falls off (like faze 2017-2018, mousesports)

I was thinking the same, besides Hooxi nobody really wins trophies now and you might think karrigan is the best IGL in the world But you never know how nexa or snappi would have utilize 4 star players of FaZe, since their current teams is very mid you cant just visualize it on FaZe. Also one weak thing of karrigan its the way how he utilized ropz in this team. It hurts me little bit since im the ropz enjoyer and always thought he has enough talent to be top5 player in the world. Cuz individually he s not worse than ax1Le right? But stats and ropz impact at faze is saying otherwise

What makes you think HooXi anywhere near as good of an IGL as karrigan :D HooXi has to be the most overrated in the scene rn, I'll credit him for developing m0nesy, which wasn't hard to do since aleksiB kept him on a leash, but G2 were just as bad as he joined and only did anything change till after the coach / mental coach came in :DDD

I mean most IGLs don’t do well when they first join their teams Faze was tragically bad when Karrigan first rejoined them and didn’t win anything for basically an entire year

9/10, he is not much worse than last year, its just that they lost some close games this year (some games against G2 who are dominates right now), I think FaZe gonna be fine, they are still a top5 team and tbf every team struggles rn besides G2.

6/10 or something, since the Cologne they have looked lackluster and only good showing I remember is when they lost that final against Heroic, losing 14-1 lead on the ct side is unacceptable with the players Faze has and with the time they already spent together as team they look average

a few of my friends who are FaZe fans were really mad at Karrigan lately and asking to replace him with snappi or siuhy. Mostly because of his individuals and poor T-sides especially. They're not from EU or NA tho. So I was interested to know how EU fans rates karrigan

Historically Karrigan has always had poor individual stats every team he's been on because he's selflessly stupid when he entries. I recall from interviews a lot of people praise that Karrigan is super individually talented outside of events and works hard though. IE Pugs/FPL/Scrims, but on stage his responsibility overshadows his performances for sure & it's hit or miss when it's time for him to shoot. I will say though, when he frags he frags hard. I think their issues genuinely reside in other teams finally cracking their system + a severe absence of communication lately. FaZe threw a 14-1 lead on Anubis, head into nuke with no confidence & bad comms. Most crucial round Rain doesn't convey to Twistzz the T's can cross yard already. Twistzz is checking radar/comming, T's walk in to mini and get a triple entry because of one mistake. Map goes OT & FaZe crumbles. I watch a lot of their demos and this type of stuff is happening a lot and I could not say why. I'd give them the rest of this season before I'd even consider making a change though.

8/10 rn. He's still a good igl despite having disappointing results. You also got to take into consideration that players like broky have been inconsistent. He'll be back in the 2nd half of this year as always, whether it's with faze or another team.

i feel like a lot of his calling style relies on his team being at a 100% full force, and if a piece isn't playing like their usual self (be it rain, ropz or broky) that 1% dropoff will eventually make things crumble but at the same time he will not lose to bad teams. the team he's built is not like navi, liquid, nip or fnatic where they will drop games to much worse opponents. plus he has been playing decently as an individual so i'd give him an 8/10, after all cs is a team game and i think for an igl he's been doing all he reasonably can, so i'd argue the rest of the team has to step up (as for twistzz i think he's been fantastic so far this year and i can't wait for more)

I dont think Faze is doing as bad as it is suggested. There are good runs all over the place and the losses are always against the eventually finalists, as well as a lot of tight games which could go either way. There are only so much Tier1 Tournaments and only 1 Team can win them out of a lot of title Contenders.

His calling ingame hasn't change would still give it a 10/10 but maybe lacking innovation a bit. FaZe still heavily relied on players to perform but the truth is there are a lot players that are in better form than faze players right now, they had a month off after katowice and karrigan did say they added more structure to their game now than playing individualistic, which will be interesting see because its not really their style
