Stop saying -xyp

The whole team is dysfunctional, the players who at the end would have the lowest stats anyways just look worse. Please look at buzz awareness/movement… look at blamef playing „outside“ by hiding in garage corner allowing patsi to go to secret and kill 2 astralis players xD Stop blaming it on the „supportive“ players and rather look at the players who should be the ones doing the work and initiative instead of hiding in corners. Imo every ASTRALIS member would shine in another team. I hope to see that one day. Device could easily be a top awper in any team. Blamef could play in another role for another team where players are better than him so he puts his ego aside. Glaive should mechanically still be good and tap heads. However he should not be the playmaker of the team in 2023. another problem in astralis. Look at Karrigan who’s arguably worse mechanically than him and still does a ok job. Glaive is super experienced and could help a lot of teams, like make a t2 talent team (like chopper with spirit) to t1 contenders. Especially if the game revolves around him… what rn is not the case. Xyp same story, super experienced and calm guy who still got a good aim as well. Every young team needs at least 1 experienced player like gambit with hobbit, he could’ve been a great addition to such a team. Like a full danish sprout for example. Buzz solid aim but needs so much more experience and exercise but he looks like he’s willing to do that. In a team led by someone like Hunden back in cp flames he would shine much more. End of story.

Buzz isn't bad individually, but for fucks sake he makes so many unnecessary pushes that cost them the rounds. Comes with experience I guess.

I ain't reading all of this when you already show in your first paragraph that you're clueless about cs. Hiding in outside garage is an entirely normal thing, a lot of players mix that into rounds. And it is the job of his teammates to be aware of the gap in the setup.

If you play around it yes. Not like blamef doing nothing. His teammates looked shocked when they got killed bc it should probably have been blamed Job to hold that position. His positioning made no sense if you look at the positioning of all other players, all infos and clock timer
2023-03-19 14:14
It’s most definitely not normal to do it as much as he did that game. As an outside player Blame had 4 deaths on CT, half as much as the next closest astralis I player. It’s just a big juxtaposition to how someone like Niko plays
2023-03-19 14:34
Niko and Rain make plays before they hide. Blame sitting in garage doing nothing hoping someone walks passed him

Not really, every outside player has rounds where they just tuck into that exact corner and don't do anything else, especially when you expect the opponents to do a fast main drop

Some of your points are valid It's always the support players that are blamed. But, honestly what Astralis needs is an entry fragger. When konfig used to be on rampage (like once in 10 games), Astralis used to be unbeatable. Astralis should really target Zyphon or some other mechanical riflers who can entry for blamef and device Also, idk about blamef. On one hand it feels like he is a lurker so he should be the last one alive but I am never able to understand his role in the team. It's like whole of Astralis helps in stat padding for him

Supportive players are supposed to shoot back and not have 0.5 k/d. Do you see anybody blaming perfecto on navi? Sjuush on heroic? No xyp9x is bad, he isn't the only problem in astralis, but he should definitely leave.

Perf doesn’t play support anymore Heroic has mixed roles.
2023-03-19 16:43
xyp losing aim battles consistently is not an excuse. There were 1 or 2 rounds when Spirit just killed xyp first and Astralis just lose those rounds

try to explain this to the bunch of HLTV kids who keep repeating "bUt cS iS MoRe ThAn AiM", "bUt MuG GaMeSeNsE..." because it's the smart thing to say it's a shooting game... you need to win aim battles

The only constant in these last 3 years of Astralis disappointment/underperformance/downfall or whatever is Xyp9x, maybe instead of replacing everybody else it's time to bring somebody who hits some shots? It's just not working anymore. Aim was never his strength, back in the day the nades meta was new and unexploited so Astralis could have an era, now you have so many teams at the forefront of meta and they are all sick aimers, you need to compete if you dont wanna fall below the bar. -xyp AND -gla1ve

Another point to why "-Xyp" is bad, they played against atk (i think) on inferno where Xyp holds church from coffin. And an opponent litterally walks up and kills him from behind, Xyp thought he had 2 teammates watching his back but both held such passive angles that the enemies could walk on site for free. This happens way to often, which Konfig has pointed out when he was removed.
