how is it relevant that they became the main team later? they started as academy team and worked out to be one of the best teams in the world. you cant say that about any other team that started as academy roster
say what you will about torzsi or jdc but mouz nxt is probably the easiest choice, 4/5 players have been successful enough after it that you can't argue against it (sure three of them were promoted but i think it's a testament to how good that team is as a core considering that despite the seeming mediocrity of all its players they managed to get top 4 at a major)
4/5 2021 MOUZ NXT made the Rio Major, 3/5 of which made playoffs. the answer is clear.

4/5 players of first Gambit Youngsters iteration(when they were an academy), got promoted to Gambit main roster, competed in tier-1 tournaments together, won IEM Dallas and constantly finished top-4/top-5 at other tier-1 tournaments. Sh1ro and Ax1le are top-5 players in the world

Gambit's main roster did not exist when Gambit Youngsters signed sh1ro, nafany, ax1le, and supra. It would be illogical to call them an academy team.
