But if You're talking about subjective enjoyment, then yes, you could make an argument for something being of high entertainment quality FOR YOU if it entertains YOU. But even then the quantity has nothing to do with it

Depends on the kind of entertainment, duh. For example in music you have harmony, rhythmics, originality of the tune, overall style in which it's done, repetitiveness, distinctive style... it is all measurable and to some degree objective (to some degree only because at the end of the day our preference is subjective). So with streamers you could easily objectively evaluate their level of engagement with fans, the level of gameplay they're presenting if they're gameplay streamers, you could observe and write down their character traits that could overall make the experience of watching their stream more enjoyable, you could also describe their style in objective terms, you could EASILY find paralells between other streamers and compare them... there's really much more to it than just viewership.

yes, good entertainment can sometimes not be discovered by a large audience.
But bad entertainment would not have consistently large numbers, because if people are not entertained, they stop consuming and move on. And marketing only allows a short term push, we are talking about streamers that are streaming for several years on an almost daily basis.

Marketing allows a short term push? Are you even familiar with how marketing is done to build a brand? It takes YEARS. And streamers are their own brand, quite literally. From what i see is that you do have a point but again in this context of streamers its mostly a subjective topic and since many people liked it even though on a objective pov its mediocore or above average as best its still does appease alot of people.
So, in conclusion i do agree that objectively quantity is not equal quality but subjectively if many people watched the streams then its bound to have a decent or even good quality of entertaintment for certain people. Am i getting this correct? its 5 am and i havent sleep so flame me all you want if its wrong.

Oh no, I certainly agree, it has to be good quality entertainment for those people that watch the streams, otherwise they wouldn't had watched it. What I'm trying to say is that the fact that a large group of people finds it to be good quality entertainment, it doesn't neccesairly mean that it objectively is, like this guy suggests time and time again, because there are many factors present when it comes to such a complicated phenomenon as being a rather famous streamer. The social and psychological side of it is far too big to just ignore it completely like this guy did. But obviously if people enjoy it, then it is enjoyable for them, subjectively, and in the end that's all that matters. I'm just sayin' that quantity =/= quality, because this guy's whole point is that it >>obviously<< is, even though it clearly is not. Cheers :)
