well i wish i could play but i didnt get lucky, im just gonna wait for the full release
"Play it for yourself"
not that easy man
i need to watch shroud vod before that
Im type of person who hates changes overall
but this update seems really cool
First of all I really like visual changes, especially smokes (dont know about nade + smoke thing, need to test in person) and also audio changes sounds cool (bro ak mrrrr :333)
Im hyped that maybe my fav map, cobblestone is coming back so I can grind it 24/7 xdd
This "laser-ish" smoke visual effect after shootin' snipers seems cool af, I really like it
I played it and honestly the smokes change isn't so bad like a lot of people are making it, for example is actually very difficult to spot enemy players with bullet spam, the hole made is very tiny and needs constant supply of fire, is more like another tactic tool that is somewhat situational and not a game changer...
Also ninja defuses are still possible but maybe a little more difficult in some situations... for example if ct is defusing and one guy try to use bullet to spot him he would need to spend a good fraction of the mag shooting focused fire in random spot that could be wrong, so if he get lucky and shoot where enemy is it's the same as in the past when you killed but in the dark... in distance spottin enemies is very difficult this way... but is possible to get a cue of where is the enemy crossin with constant fire and maybe try to make a spray transfer to get a kill, but is very difficult i emphasize...
My only concern is the big effect that nades have in the smoke... maybe volvo needs to reduce the amount of dissipation and not being instantaneous, more similar to the behaviour of spammin with weapons but better, a suggesition is to make it more chaotic the smoke's changes
We just need to know how the MM will work and if they finally decide to use two and a half neurons to use a new AC and forget about Linux cheaters.
gameplay wise it's literally the same with the exception of smokes and valorant graphics
also the molotovs look silly
I played and loved it so far, I just found the spray pattern and movement a little different compared to GO, but nothing that bothered me too much, otherwise I loved the new maps (although D2 has changed very little the other maps seem to be fine more worked like Overpass for example) and I liked the new dynamism that the new smoke will bring to the game.
It's also very important to point out that I didn't experience any noticeable changes in performance, which is great for the first day of the test build and after severe graphics changes.
I would like if they add more dark tones. It beautiful but it look cartoonish. 1 color of smoke, not purple ish flame.
The nade smoke is a bit op but that's a nice new mechanism overall.
It's odd to see d2 but it is a"new "game
