cs2 was the main motivation rn but I also play other games sometimes and want some headroom, finally Forza Horizon will run on 100+ stable fps omg I'm excited lmao

cs2 atm feels not that well optimized, less fluid and less responsive than csgo for me those who currently get consistent 200-300 fps in csgo may feel the need to improve their pcs in order to feel more of that csgo fluidity in cs2 and I would imagine that these things can get even worse in ancient

not sure why'd you hate AMD, you're overpaying for RTX nowadays while AMD offers the same power for cheaper price, but w/o fancy RTX cores

never said i hate them, i just dont particulary like them, id rather buy intel haha but yeah rtx are overpriced af, probably the only good price to performance rtx is the 3060 12 gb

What's wrong with their cpus? these aren't athlons and fxs anymore, like 10-14 years ago it'd be reasonable hate, but nowadays it's just doesn't make any sense.

The extra cache doesnt improve performance in CS, 5700x should probably perform a little better due to higher clocks.

Yes, now add pbo2 (that you cant do on the x3d) and undervolt and you will get very similar results for half the price. Maybe that the 1% low will be a bit better on the x3d but very marginal.

i.imgur.com/j6rEZAr.jpg Fair enough but I wouldn't call 12% and 21% difference marginal when you want as less fps drops as possible in multiplayer game. If you have enough money 5800X3D is still best option for games at AM4 platform.

Fair point and you are right. Personally however i dont think its justified in CS especially since the avg is lower. In other games the x3d shines however.

nah no need for it. I had nzxt kraken but while changing the cpus I realized the pump was dying xd currently running on stock cooler I had but I've ordered a new Be quiet regular cooler "D

Went for 4070ti and 5800x3d. Was eyeing those for a while but CS2 pushed me over the edge.

make sure to OC your ram, infinity fabric loves fast ram. gives tons of FPS google: "ryzen DRAM calculator" to get pretty much one and done OC also, when you buy ryzen systems, get as fast ram as possible and not random sticks but ones that have samsung b-dies like g.skill tridentz 3600mhz. b-dies are the fastest and overclock the best.
