at the international when it was held in usa (2017 i think) there were some players unable to secure visa and some that barely did, and this is also held by valve and a very big tournament. Indeed it can work out and i hope there wont be any problems, but it isnt always something that valve can fix or sometimes they are pretty slow in doing so

But Allegedly Perfect World are supposed to host the next major and they will probably go with a much cheaper country. 1: This would be a big flex on Valorant 2: Denmark is a very historic CS nation. After Paris only Russia and Denmark are the 2 historic CS nations to not have a major and well Russia is in a bit of a situation. 3: Denmark is just a good country to host this kind of thing. It's well developed, has stadiums that are frequently used for e-sports, Blasts has headquarters in Copenhagen + a studio there, Denmark as a country strongly supports E-sports etc. etc. You might even be able to get the government involved.
