But did you miss the horizontal lines? 15 of them, 3 different colours (light blue, yellow, orange)

Nice to see, that 0.1% lows at highest settings have improved by so much! I guess that means less of the annoying microstutters? Hopefully they are fixed now!

I gladly accept lower avg fps if that means that my fps wont tank from 400 to 80 occasionally like in CSGO
2023-03-25 10:40
Great to see that the fps dip isn't that huge with higher settings now
2023-03-25 10:40
since this is a new engine you don't need 400+ fps to get a smooth game unlike source 1

Thats true but with lower fps comes with higher input lag

1080p numbers (which is using gpu rather than cpu) most of these guys will be dropping res and have way different numbers

this is true

Except the little differences in the chart, it means it's likely game is heavily CPU bottlenecked anyway. In which case, depending on your graphics card, decreasing graphics settings likely won't improve fps by relevant margin. Anyway this is still beta, can't tell if CPU utilization will get optimized in future.

i'm sure it's far from optimized, and i think the biggest issue with CSGO fps is STABILITY! high highs mean nothing when the lows are down to 125 in smokes or near nades, etc would rather have 299 constant than go from 600 to 100

Exactly! The main point of brute forcing high FPS is to reduce input latency anyway! Depending on how much input latency for CS2 improves, it also can remove need to push your framerate. Then, it only would need to be able sustain FPS to match refresh rates of high end gaming monitors.

CS2 has nvidia reflex, wouldn't that improve latency also?

Wat? Are you telling me you dont enjoy playing Anubis with 200fps then a slight glimpse of the water area tanks your fps to 60? Get out of there, silly goose.
2023-03-25 11:18
great so imma have 120-60fps gaming in cs2 :(
