+1, nades have a huge effect on smokes but shooting trough them isn't nearly as powerful as people think

Yes but you don’t see anything if you shoot in the middle, so it’s still useful

Its great on the edges, now you cant lose track of a player if he jumps or stops cuz you'll see him

Yes it's more powerful on the edges, but because oneways work so much worse people don't really play on the edges of smokes anymore. Also it's really easy for the enemy to also see you if you start randomly spamming the corners of smokes.

a possible buff maybe... when shooting through the middle of a smoke with m4a1-s, severely reduce hole size. this way the smoke spamming aspect of the m4a1s is present or just revert the mag to 25, idk

I think they need to reduce the time the smokes fade when naded, if they make them fade for a split second that allows you to get info or just a quick peek people will be forced to used them more wisely and will create more timings, but now i feel like they're too op and pros will be stacking nades close to sites

You can only see through the smoke if shooting near the edge

yes, but there are still holes when shooting with m4a1s through middle of smoke possible buff, m4a1s no holes when middle sohoting

i am pretty sure valve will reduce the smoke disappearing time when HE is thrown it is too overpowered m4a1s will be viable still

I'm pretty sure they will find a way to balance it, but it might take a while. it's also very possible that cs2 releases with certain overpowered weapons that don't get discovered for years, as was the case with csgo where the best weapon in the game was not in use at all before 2019

QUESTION: In CS2 beta how obvious is it if the enemy you shot in the body has armor or not? From what I have seen on streams there seems to be a lot of blood coming out in deathmatch where everyone has armor of course but how is it different from unarmored enemies?

i haven't really noticed a difference in pistol rounds compared to buy rounds, so maybe no difference?? not sure, have to check
