I like it, it will change the meta massively more than if it was only the bullets making holes and I think it's good to get big meta change for once after so many meta changes being just about guns. The color of the smoke doesn't really matter at all, 99% of time you will know which team threw the smoke anyway. I really dislike situations (both as a player and spectator) where the CT can just smoke a chokepoint when there is little time left and T's have nothing else to do than run trough it blind and hope for the best.
It will both make it harder for CT's to hold sites because smokes can be made to vanish but also on some maps it makes T's job taking map control harder like mid on Mirage or outside on Nuke.

i dont mind the change as its quite balanced.

I dont like that CTs can pick up T smokes and vice verca because it removes the point of having coloured smokes but otherwise I like it
EDIT: also can someone tell me if the molotovs spread further or if it just looks like that

dude its a beta... 100% they gonna change the smokes' color for competitive stuff. dont forget its a random beta access, streamers/pro to silver can get it

I agree. CS2 as a whole is just really bad and for noobs.

I like everything apart from nades blowing smokes away like that. People say it will make the game more tactical but it just looks silly imo.

It's CS. It's not supposed to be realistic

its not that unrealistic if u ignore that the nade would destroy the smoke grenade itself, the smoke grenade would just continue to put out smoke until its done

The new smokes arent as op as I expected. They should reduce duration of nades impact a little bit and it will be fine. The colors are purely cosmetic and dont affect the gameplay

Smoke in CS isn't realistic and will never be since that would influence game play. Here is some of the ways smoke has been and will keep being unrealistic.
- Smoke doesn't put out fire
- Using smoke bombs inside will mean smoke staying there for a long time, not just seconds.
- Using smoke outside the result will depend on wind or no wind. In real life there is almost always a bit of wind and wind direction changes. CS is not going to simulate wind anytime soon.
- No smoke grenade I have ever seen puts out smoke for just half a seconds, it does so for way longer.
Some having different colors actually isn't unrealistic, while often grey smoke can have all sorts of colors. It also seems reasonable an explosion will push smoke away and that the smoke will return as the pressure generated by the explosion dissipates - the exact effect ought to depend a lot on the size of the room.
