I mean, people won't need to upgrade p much, old smoke probably caused more lag than a new one. All the hitching and stutters rn are a result of low optimization in beta.

optimization is great so far and it will probably get better when fully released, nearly everyone so far has mentioned how the game has consistent frames (no random drops and all those things etc) while being also very smooth.
