its been 4 months and 47 lan maps since npl joined navi's main roster yet its still pretty difficult to see what his role is even supposed to look like other than filling 5th player spot on the server to not get auto disqualified. not blaming npl or anything (or at least to soon to) but rather questioning whats exactly blade's idea and progression vector here. is he a supportive element of the roster helping to set up plays via throwing utility? far from it, per stats he records least flashes thrown per round, and deals second least nade damage per round only to s1mple hltv.org/stats/teams/players/flashes/460.. is he an entry fragger creating space, being the bait and distracting opponent aim so that his core stars could effectively trade during mid round executions? again least entry attemps on T side and second least on CT (to perfecto) hltv.org/stats/teams/players/openingkill.. ... perfecto's lack of initiative is at least expected due to his late round clutch play: so far this year perfecto won 18 1vsX clutch situations for comparison b1t won 21 s1mple won 14 electronic won 9 while being main entry fragger of the team npl won 7 for navi fans nowadays its quite painful to watch them play against properly functioning teams such as g2 or faze. especially since navi core's firepower is often enough to beat easier teams and as a result build the illusion of them gaining momentum to be able to win the tournament.
