because the idea of a beta is to test (a partion of) the game and get community feedback so they can change if necessary

this is were the beta is for, to find bugs and report them to volvo so they can fix it, i rather have this in the beta and volvo fix it then it being in the main game without a beta

yeah but that means that only the playtime before the cs2 beta release counts, so anyone who just plays faceit including me will not get access

You'll be less likely probably but I don't think it's impossible. But also from Valve's standpoint it makes sense because they want accurate feedback so it's more helpful to get feedback from players that are able to compare Valve servers of GO and Valve servers of CS2

yeah sure but why close it down for everyone who is just willing to play extra now to get access? or maybe its a bait so everyone who is idling will stop and the normal player base will continue to just play and volvo will pick those players

They aren't giving it to the people who played mm either... I basically only play/played mm before the update with 150 hours past 2 weeks but never got beta

I always played MM but this last month i had 0 hours cuz i have been studying, no access for me this is just dogshit, its the most antecipated update ever, people want to test the new engine and they can't. Valve is just dumb and dont care about their players, no wonder people have to play faceit
