Do you still remember in 2018 debate device vs s1mple and everyone said device eco fragger, carried by his team, system player awp holder angle. Even in current worst Astralis and in nip he put good rating. Is device goat?

majors are won by teams, best player titles are won by individuals. True, Astralis has won more but I think S1mple as an individual player is better than Dev1ce. Zywoo has been number 1 in the world a few times now but still hasnt won any major. That doesnt make him a bad player, it just means that Vitality as a team was not good enough to win one.

Maybe Device is more successful because he makes due with less space in the team. Similarly to someone like Broky. If Device wanted to play like S1mple and ZywOo you can't have a Dupreeh, Magisk and Xyp9x on their best positions. If Broky did you can't have TwistZz second entry and Ropz god lurk.
Even though S1mple can carry 95% of all games, NAVI basically just lose whenever S1mple doesn't hard carry the team (With some rare exceptions) the same goes for Vitality and ZywOo. It's harder for a player with shit positions and supportive roles to carry if the star player has an off day when said player only has shit to work with.
Astralis always felt much more like a team, than NAVI ever have.

device is the goat in terms of accolades. 4x major winner is more impressive than s1mple's 1.20+ average ratings if u ask me

i think s1mple a little better individually, but device has many more titles and was the main player on the team with the most dominant era of all time...
so even thinking s1mple more skilled, i consider device the GOAT... remember that GOAT means the GREATEST player, not necessarily the most skilled player
device and sh1ro most luckiest players of all time.
in terms of raw skill zywoo and simple takes the cake.
